You are visiting Goethe's friend and secretary Johann Peter Eckermann. He gave the house where he lived until 1823 his name. This small apartment measures 26 square meters and is located on the first floor. 2 people can stay here. The preserved small spatial structures shape the historical ambience. The apartment is furnished in Biedermeier style and consists of a living room, a kitchen, a hallway and a bathroom. The kitchen with dining area is fully equipped. The living-bedroom is furnished in the Biedermeier style (beds 2 m long). Bed linen is included and cable TV is available. The bathroom is spacious. It has a bathtub and toilet, towels are provided. The listed building is one of the oldest residential buildings in the “Frauentorvorstadt” (center) in Weimar.

Für mich war auch der historische Ort bedeutsam, also das Eckermann Haus. Es ist einfacher den Ort Weimar verstehen zu lernen, wenn man sozusagen auch in der Nacht Geschichte zum Drin-Schlafen erleben kann.
Alte Mauern, schöner alter Holzfußboden einerseits, andererseits aller Komfort der heutigen Zeit.
