Wakulla Springs State Park, Panacea Gulf Aquarium, and Apalachicola are great day trips. Don't forget your insect repellent. Our coastline , Palmetto trees, and sand dunes offer a variety of little critters that you may not be familiar with such a sand gnats, No-See-Ums, sand fleas, Palmetto bugs, yellow flies, love bugs, and large mosquitos, which we have no control over. Please keep doors closed and windows closed without screens. Insects are attracted to light and can quickly invade.
