- La Chumbera is a good wheelchair-accessible holiday home (the owner is himself in a wheelchair) with a variety of conveniences in the kitchen, with kitchen appliances and dishes, as well as a dishwasher, microwave, and much more. Eight people can sit and eat in the kitchen/living area. The house has three large double bedrooms, each of which has its own bathroom with shower and a closet with a mirror, meaning there will be no bathroom lines in the morning. Parents, older children, and grandparents can stay in the large bedroom in the lower part of the house, when they would like to be alone. New bed and table linens can be rented on site. For longer stays, the washing machine and tumble dryer are useful in order to avoid travelling with masses of laundry. The gas barbecue is on the patio, as well as plenty of opportunities for sunbathing and lazing around on the deck chairs, under parasols when necessary. Enjoy the lovely summer evenings (without mosquitoes), the location is peaceful.

Trés bon séjour
Maison très agréable, très propre et très bien équipée.
Proche de tout.
Accueil formidable, Georg Forthuber très gentil aucune difficulté avec notre fils handicapé. Il nous a très bien reçu, et nous a bien arrangé malgré notre arrivé différé !!!

Het was heel comfortabel en wij voelden ons daar gewoon thuis.
Het ontbrak ons aan niets .
Erholsame Zeit
In dem Häuschen, was sehr praktisch aufgeteilt ist, haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Schönes Ambiente, sehr sauber, eine super Küchenausstattung, viele Sitzgelegenheiten auf den Terrassen, immer Schattenmöglichkeit vorhanden. Sehr praktisch auch der separate Eingang für das 3. Doppelzimmer mit eigenem Bad. Fußläufig in den Ort in 20 Minuten, geht allerdings recht ordentlich den Berg hinauf. Idyllische Strände mit Kiessand in 10 Minuten mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Schade, dass wir erst am letzten Tag herausgefunden haben, dass der Strand Fonda auch für Hunde freigegeben ist. Ansonsten gibt es einen Hundestrand am Mündungsgebiet des Flusses Ter, Sandstrand Fahrzeit 20 Min. Das Grundstück ist nicht vollständig mit einem Zaun umgeben , der hintere Teil geht in einen bewachsenen Graben über aber unser Hund blieb brav bei uns auf der Terrasse. Wir kommen gerne wieder.
Unsere tollen Mitarbeiter sind jederzeit sehr bemüht, dass unser Ferienhaus, "La Chumbera" innen wie außen, sauber und freundlich daher kommt und unseren Gästen viel Freude und Erholung bietet.
In unserem Garten wachsen und blühen je nach Jahreszeit div. Sträucher und Blumen, was den Aufenthalt unserer Gäste ebenfalls verschönert!
Die dichte Thyja-Hecke mussten wir leider opfern, für unser neues _Gartenhaus, deshalb sind die neue gepflanzten Sträucher noch nicht ganz so dicht wie gewünscht. Diese werden aber bereits im Frühling so dicht sein, dass die Hunde nicht mehr versuchen, ins 2 M tiefe Bachbett zu springen.
Wir heißen alle Gäste, mit oder ohne Hund, herzlich willkommen!!
Erholung von der ersten bis zur letzten Minute.
Sehr schönes Haus, gehobener Einrichtungsstandard, überdurchschnittliche Ausstattung der Küche. Sehr gepflegter Garten und schöne Terassen. Gemütliche Aussenbeleuchtung lädt zum langen Verweilen am Abend ein.
Wir haben uns rundherum wohlgefühlt.

Ab und zu spazieren andere Hundebesitzer die Strasse auf und ab und dann kann es schon mal zu einem kurzen Hundekonzert kommen.
Nicht sehr angenehm aber auch nicht dramatisch...
Location
Begur is an old, small town, notable for its romantic Spanish charms. Without large hotels, you will feel at home and welcome. In the town centre, there are numerous small restaurants, pizzerias, bars, etc., and there are naturally many shopping options and internet cafés. Every Wednesday evening there are diverse attractions in the town square. From a small rise in the prominent castle ruins, there is a lovely panoramic view extending to Roses, the Pals golf courses, L'Estartit (a diving centre), or to the various small bays and their beaches. With a car, you can reach these bays quite quickly. At the entrance to the town, there is a riding area, as well as a nice swimming pool with a tennis court, located near La Chumbera. A go-kart track is just five minutes away. One good option is to stay home and listen to the crickets; however Begur also has a vibrant nightlife that lasts into the wee hours, ideal for our younger guests!
