Haus Cronov is bright, cozy, comfortable, well stocked and provides a wonderful home-away-from-home atmosphere. It is set up so that everyone enjoys privacy yet also togetherness since all rooms are spacious and comfortable. The gas fireplace turns on at a flick of a switch, the atmosphere created underscores the cozy, bright friendliness of Haus Cronov. The yard is huge, with a flat grassy area approx. 1 acre large, swing,firepit and forest area so that all outdoor summer and winter wishes can be fulfilled. In the forest the kids can play on huge ice-age rock. A small hill creates a great sledding area in winter.

Great family vacation spot!
We really enjoyed our week stay at the Haus Cornov in Chesterville, Adirondacks, NY. The owners are very accommodating and friendly. My family enjoyed all the amenities the fully stocked chalet had to offer, such as the screened in "dining room" porch, the 2 private beaches on property, close proximity to sights of the Adirondacks and conveniece of stores and restaurants. Perfect for relaxing or keeping busy, it was a great family vacation spot!
Love the chalet
We love this place! We spent a week here with our daughter and her family. Six of us were very comfortable here. One of our sons made a couple of day trips to visit with his family also. Plenty of room, full kitchen and utensils, nice grill. It looks just like the pictures. Big yard with fire pit, deck, screened in porch. Washer and dryer. Two bathrooms.
The grandkids loved the association beach! We went every day. Nice sand beach, volleyball net, picnic tables, roped in swimming area and float. We walked back and forth but took the van to bring all our gear.
The location is private and quiet but convenient to most major attractions. We went to stores, restaurants, amusement parks, mini golf, movies, and for ice cream. Everything was within 30 minutes drive. Grocery and convenience stores nearby too.
We love the chalet and highly recommend it!

Wow, what a wonderful time at Steve's place in Chester Shores. Communication with Steve and the caregiver was easy and we felt well looked after. We loved the location to the private beach at Loon lake (a quick 5 minute walk) and the home had everything we could need. A fully equipped kitchen made it easy to cook, and there were local restaurants for those nights where we felt like going out. Sunsets and star gazing were fabulous on Loon lake and we also enjoyed local hikes and the farmer's market in town. We loved early mornings and evenings on the screened in porch. It was our first trip to the adirondacks and we hope to be back again soon!
wonderfully relaxing
We had a wonderful experience, owners were very responsive, welcoming and flexible when we wanted to have a later checkout. The onsite caretaker was available for all questions and help. There was everything that you needed at the house and the property was perfect for day and night fun. Would definitely recommend and look forward to coming back. Amazing open layout of the house and fit plenty of people comfortably. Close to everything that you needed as well. Thank you for a great weekend!
