Stairs down the bank to the river with a small landing to enjoy the river up close and personal.

Absolutely perfect!
It is even better than expected, the pictures don't do it justice. The setting is absolutely stunning! The minute you walk in the door the fabulous view of the river and redwoods greet you.The house is so cute, warm and cozy. Every room is immaculately kept, the kitchen is well appointed with everything you might need for meal prep and service. The various seating areas on the back deck and by the river are well thought out and many. It was an idyllic experience, so serene and beautiful. And quiet....the only sounds are the rushing water of the river and birds song. Exactly what we were hoping for. Thanks so much for sharing your wonderful retreat!

Haven of peace & tranquility
My wife & I visit the north coast about 6-10 times a year to fish the beautiful rivers. This trip, a group of us friends all decided to travel up and surprise a local friend for his birthday and we somehow got lucky and found this little gem available. Are we glad we did! Everyone was in awe of the views! We’ve seen this house a few times we’ve been fishing on the Smith and thought what a nice spot with all the windows, patios & decks. We were not disappointed. There was plenty of space for everyone, the house provided all the essentials and was full of amenities. It was raining for most of our trip so the crew enjoyed hanging out on the back porch or playing ping pong in the garage. We loved it so much, it was hard to leave. We’ll definitely be back! Thank you Jack & Sue for opening up your home to share.
