About Helen Young
We have lived on the estate for thirty years and will be your next door neighbours during your stay. We are also hospitality professionals who love travel ourselves. This is a family project with our adult children participating in making the house ready for guests.
Helen Young purchased this Estate in 2015
Why Helen Young chose Beamsville
This house is the original farmhouse for the Cave Spring Estate. We have great photos of it in the forties and have enjoyed looking at it for the decades we have lived in the vineyard. It has a great view and allows guests to really feel like vintners. No need to go to Tuscany to stay in a vineyard!
What makes this Estate unique
The views are wonderful both to the lake and onto the Escarpment....really any way you look. The porches and deck are very welcoming and an early morning coffee on either is a lovely start to the day.

Large comfortable and charming house with a million dollar view of Toronto & Lake Ontario shoreline
Excellent host and very accommodating. Quick response to any queries. Extremely well equipped home right at the foot of the Bruce Trail. Highly recommend for a large group of family or friends.
What a pleasure to host on the ultimate special occasion! Congratulations.
Exactly Perfect
We loved our stay here. Helen was the most gracious host we've ever dealt with. She reached out to us before our trip to try to help us with any questions. She made us feel like family.
The home is as advertised. It is absolutely beautiful. It is new and current. It had everything we would need. The views were fabulous. It was very peaceful. Giuliana, her daughter, greeted us and gave us an introduction to the home. She pointed us to a few restaurants offering vegan meals, which we enjoyed greatly. We ate at a different restaurant every day (7) that offered vegan options. We walked at a different park of trail every day. We walked around the vineyard. And regardless of how many times someone goes to Niagra Falls, it is still breathtaking.
Everyone we met throughout the area was nice. I wish our neighbors in the states could be so warm.
Thank you Helen!
Funny that I should get this review today as, for the first time in a long time, I went to see Niagara Falls with some visiting relatives: we did the boat to the Falls and stared at the mesmerizing lip of the falls. One forgets how great they are until you are again in front of them. No matter how much tacky tourism stuff builds up around them, the Falls themselves are unchangingly fabulous!
Thanks for your kind words about our home: we were delighted to host you and your pups!

Beautiful retreat nestled in vineyard
If you are looking for a place to escape to peace and calm, this is it! A beautiful house nestled in vineyards on an impressive estate. The views from the wraparound porch are stunning. Close enough to tourist traps (Niagara Falls, Niagara-on-the-Lake), yet far enough to escape. Truly stunning!
We love sharing the beauty of our vineyard with Niagara visitors: thanks for choosing our home for your getaway!
Fabulous
Fantastic experience. From the moment we made the initial enquires to the checkout time. We would thoroughly recommend the estate home.
A beautiful home in a peaceful setting close to Niagara Falls.
Thanks you so much for opening this beautiful home to us. It is a lovely spot to relax and enjoy. We gathered three generations of adults there from Germany, New Brunswick and Nova Scotia to spend a couple of days before moving on to a larger family reunion in Guelph. I wish we had stayed longer.
The house and grounds are clean very well maintained.
We were warmly welcome with delicious homemade cookies and apples. Thank you so much. The owners were present but unobtrusive and helpful with excellent suggestions for dining in the area. We enjoyed a nice chat. It felt like we had known them for a long time and were just catching up. Lovely people! Even the dogs dropped by for a round of ear scratching and belly rubs! We would definitely stay again.
We are so glad the house worked well for your family. Hope the reunion was filled with laughter!
A beautiful and quiet place
The Vineyard Estate offers a chance for relaxation. It sits in the middle of vineyards; the porches look onto the even rows. The house is far from the main road, so the night remains quiet and serene.
The host, Helen, was very accommodating, even providing additional fans and forgiving a mishap with a towel bar. She was available for any questions we had and brought her dogs around for a canine visit.
The house itself is quite functional. Importantly, it is equipped with an elevator and an accessible bathroom, and while the facilities aren't quite U.S. ADA compliant, members of our family were able to navigate the house.
Vineyard Estate House provided a quiet and relaxing vacation.
Location
Lincoln is 30 minutes from Niagara Falls and so perfect for a trip to see this iconic attraction. However it is a world away in terms of relaxation: definitely go see the Falls but relax in the rural quiet of the vineyard!
The Beamsville Bench winery area is one of the most prestigious in Canada. There are over 40 wineries in the neighbourhood along with their stylishly casual restaurants. We are very close the major arterial highways of the Niagara corridor to the US so accessibility is not a problem at all: you are just ten minutes away.
Jordan Village is where Cave Spring makes its wine and it is its vineyards over which the Estate House looks...in fact is was the historical estate house of the farm. The village also has great boutiques, galleries and a nice, spoiling spa.
Half hour proximity to St Catharines, NIagara on the Lake and Niagara Falls means busier venues are at hand, whether for theatre goers or folks looking for classic tourism blockbuster activity. But many come to this end of the peninsula for the fine rural feeling and the chance to unwind.
Biking is a particular pleasure in this part of the peninsula with lots of scenic roads intermingled with modest hills.
