Townhome, 3 Bedrooms, 3.5 Baths, (Sleeps 6)
- english, dutch
We are a family of five from the UK and Orlando is our favorite destination for holidays. Our ages range from age 17 to adult and we have found that there is plenty to entertain us all here. We're too big now to fit comfortably into a hotel room and prefer to stay in our own holiday home which we share with guests.
Ruth-Owner purchased this Townhome in 2010
Why Ruth-Owner chose Orlando
After visiting Orlando on MANY occasions to visit the theme parks we saw the Tuscan Themed Vista Cay resort in the course of construction and decided that this was the best location for a holiday home. It is so convenient. We could not imagine driving in from Kissimmee each day particularly in the Florida summer! Being so close to the restaurants of International Drive and Sand Lake Road in the evening also saves plenty of travelling.
What makes this Townhome unique
There is space and privacy for everyone in our home with each bedroom having an ensuite bathroom. The open plan living space means that everyone can come together for food and entertainment with TV, Wii, music and games.

Second Vista Cay stay
Everything was good here.
The place was nice and limited basic necessities were provided.
The only thing that was a little annoying was having the laundry machines in the downstairs bedroom closet. I’m sure the owner has a good reason for doing this but the garage would be better.
Ps. There’s an alligator lurking around the lake. Probably not uncommon there but I was surprised being so close to the housing and walking/ running path.
Washer and dryer are located in the downstairs master closet. All the townhomes on the development were built with this arrangement. The path around Lake Cay is a great place to see Florida’s wildlife but in this part of the world you can never be certain that there won’t be alligators present. They pretty much go where they want to. For safety always keep to the pathway.
Perfect setup for our needs!
Clean, comfortable, and a great location.
All the pictures on the website were accurate. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this condo. It was very comfortable and very nicely located with shopping at the outlets, and for groceries. We even could get pizza close.we would definitely stay here again.
The house is also near to the high end shopping at the Mall of Millenia and The Florida Mall. Local fine dining in the Dr Phillips area is also within very easy reach.
The condo was lovely.
This place was so nice and so close to everything. We loved being able to use the pool. The place itself was very clean and everyone loved having their own bathroom. So many pluses to this place, absolutely wonderful would totally recommend
Family vacation/ Dance Nationals
This place was perfect! Short trip to the hotel we needed for Nationals. Kids loved all the extra room at the townhome and spending time at the pool. We will definitely be back!
Very central area for all theme parks, shopping and restaurants. Super close to Seaworld, Aquatica and Universal parks. You get a great view of Seaworld from the pool area. The resort is located at Lake Cay and the local businesses here include Publix,Walgreens, NYPD pizza, Subway,The Diner and Beths Burgers. Although the resort has a quiet atmosphere there is very easy access to freeways for Disney, the coast and airports.
Shoppers will enjoy searching the nearby premium outlets for good deals and both the Florida Mall and upscale Mall at Millenia are also within easy reach. Shopping and dining at Disney springs only 10 minutes drive.
Golfers must check out the newly remodelled course at Shingle Creek which is just opposite the resort and is as picturesque as it is challenging.
Families are well catered for with theme parks galore, but for a slightly different day out the coast at Cocoa Beach is only an hours drive away. Great surf for body boarding and we recommend the free parking at Lori Wilson Park which also has beach restrooms and showers.
International Drive has a whole selection of restaurants and attractions but for something a bit different try Sandlake Road. The Dr Phillips area here has the restaurants and shops that the locals use. From fine dining to great breakfast restaurants it's all here.
