Cottage, 3 Bedrooms + Convertible bed(s), 1.5 Baths, (Sleeps 6)
This property has been converted to a cottage when my husband and I moved back to Prince Edward Island after we retired from working in Manitoba for 30 years. It was my husband's family home for many years before we were married in 1968. This is a very peaceful area of PEI, there are beautiful beaches in this area of Prince Edward Island and lots to do. North Lake Tuna Capital of the World is less than 5 minutes away.
Mary purchased this Cottage in 2006
Why Mary chose Elmira
This is the perfect place for a cottage. Elmira Railway Museum is right next door, Eastpoint Lighthouse is minutes away, North Lake Fishing Harbour is just down the road, and the most beautiful beaches in Eastern PEI are minutes away. The Confederation Trail ends or begins depending what way you are travelling. The famous Basin Head Beach where the "sands sings" is less than 10 minutes away by car.
What makes this Cottage unique
You are so close to Confederation Trail you can walk or bike the trail, you can actually see the trail from the cottage. It starts at Elmira Railway Museum which is right next door. You can charter a boat and go Deep Sea Fishing or maybe even see a Giant Blue Fin Tuna landed at North Lake Fishing Harbour. Beautiful East Point Lighthouse is about 5 minutes from the cottage.

Great vacation cottage
We had a fabulous vacation in Souris, and the cottage was exactly what we were looking for. Very clean property, Mary was always available and very helpful. The cottage has everything you need, and is in a great location for exploring all of East Point.
Thank you Brigitte for the great review and so glad you enjoyed your time here. Come back soon!
Elmira and the quaint cottage
We loved the cottage, the quiet location and the whole area. The cottage was a combination of classic and modern features. We had taken things with us only to discover we did not need to cause the items were already provided. Toys for the beach were even there. Mary and Bob were excellent. They were so accommodating that when we had left behind a bag of items after checking out, Bob came so far so we would not have to drive all the way back. We are hoping to rent the cottage again in 2020. We highly recommend this property.
Thank you James and Sherry , would love to have you back at the "summer Home".
Wonderful place to stay
I had a great time. The location was quiet and peaceful; the cottage was spacious, tastefully decorated, and had everything that I needed during my stay. Mary and Bob were gracious hosts and were very responsive in communications. Checking in and out was smooth and easy. Looking forward to visiting again! Thank you!
Thank you for your kind words Cliff, so glad you enjoyed the "summer home" and hope you will be able to come back again.
Sparkling clean house!
Well located with all the necessities
Perfect quiet home!
I stayed at this lovely vacation rental with four friends. The house was clean, well looked after, and extremely convenient with a full kitchen and laundry facilities. We had lots of space for the five of us to come back and relax after a day of exploring the area. There are plenty of beautiful places nearby to discover and it was a great experience! Thank you Mary for making this lovely home available.
Thank you so much for your nice review Carolyn, so glad you girls had a great time. You are welcome back anytime, maybe for a longer stay.
A wonderful experience in every way !!!
So many plusses it is difficult to remember them all. This house has everything anyone would need or want for a relaxing and most comfortable stay. Surrounded on three sides by world class beaches, a gorgeous ,well- manicured, huge backyard to play in for pets and people.
Off the backyard runs a spectacular walking/biking trail...the terminus of the Confederation Trail that runs throughout the entire Island.
Bob and Mary are very gracious hosts and are so welcoming with true Island hospitality. I will be returning without a doubt.
We were so happy to have you stay with us and that you enjoyed your time at Between Two Waters Summer Home! Looking forward to 2018.
