Aloha, Tom and I live in the Napa Valley, Calif. We go to our condo at least twice a year to relax and work on the fix it list. We love to wake to the tropical birds singing and feel the ocean breeze through the windows. We watch the sunset nightly from 'our' beach with a glass of wine. We watch for 'coconut dog' and his master who walk the beach nightly. RELAXING is what we do best there, and you will too-no more knots in your neck!

Perfect little spot for me.
My 2nd stay here. The studio is small, but it's perfect for the price. It's surprisingly quiet and only 1/2 block to the beach and the little balcony has big bushes around it, so it feels private even though it is right by the parking lot. If I go back to Maui, I'd try to stay here again. The kitchen had all the amenities that I needed and the beach chairs and umbrellas were really nice to have.
Thanks for the great review. I can't wait to get back there for my annual visit and to freshen things up as needed. Since we only get there once a year, we appreciate input from our guests so we can have Janet-our on island Rep.-fix or replace things as needed. Win a Few/Lose a Few
The beach, shopping, and food venues adjacent to the Kihei Akahi property were everything a person or a family could ask for. The property was clean, quiet and well maintained. Our unit was squeaky clean, quiet, and had the kitchen and laundry supplies mentioned in the listing. However, I was disappointed in how small and dark this corner unit is. Turning on the TV was hit and miss and very frustrating.
Because my partner had a hard time with the time difference, we spent more time in the unit than expected. This was my eighth trip to Maui and first to Kihei. In hindsight, with a companion who hadn't been to Hawaii before, I should have gone back to a known property.
Short stay but OK
Because of a flight cancellation we had to make additional plans on short notice. We found Lani’s place and stayed here to begin our trip. We couldn’t get the Keurig coffee machine to work but Mr. Coffee did and TV was slow to operate but once we got that figured it was OK. I thought the bed was fine and everything was comfortable. All good.
A week in Maui
This was perfect for the two of us! We were more of the exploring couple so we were barely in the room during the day, but it had everything we needed for our stay. The location was great as well, right off the beach, close to some restaurants and stores. If we were to come back to Maui, we’re definitely going to rebook. Thanks for everything it was wonderful~~~ !

Everything was great. Sofa bed is kinda broken but useable. Otherwise great location and well equipped. I could stay a whole year and no complaints.
Directly across the street from Kamaole II beach with life guard station, shaded grassy picnic areas, public restrooms, BBQ's. Half a block to Fred's Mexican restaurant and Moose Magillacuddies restaurant and 808 Greek resturant, another half a block to Denney's and a strip mall with lots of cute shops and small grocery store.
