Family friendly, spacious, comfortable and central.

This was a very spacious home. Overall it was clean. I assume because it was a rainy day. The clean towels that were put out for us did not have a chance to dry so we had clean wet towels on the bed. The location is very central and close to all but what I wasn't informed of was, it's above a bar/pub. And I'm guessing it was patrons from the pub/bar that came home very late and very loudly up the stairs passing our door and waking us up.

My only other suggestion is, it might be time to buy new mattresses. The body order that was coming from them made me add another layer of clean sheets before sleeping on them.

We only stayed 1 night and left early the next morning so it was tolerable but I don't see my family staying there again.

Big, comfortable, great location!

We enjoyed our stay in Florence. The apartment is in a perfect location to many sites and delicious restaurants. If you drive to Florence the parking garage is a half a block away. The apartment was clean and roomy.

The host is very communicative, and his helper Riccardo is pleasant and speaks English. He was a tad tardy (5 minutes) to our meeting, and a bit slow to respond to inquiries / issues. He made up for it with excellent suggestions for local eateries and gelato. The unit itself is in a good location, but has a bit of an odd layout with a bedroom in the middle and both bathrooms at the back. I knock off one star for a couple reasons. First, the 2d bathroom is not really usable for much more than a toilet. It HAS a shower in it, but it rains water down on everything. Second, we were told on arrival to NOT use the washing machine, but it is listed as an amenity that we were counting on in the middle of our trip. Finally, the wifi was weak in the front of the house, and was always off-line towards the back which was on an extender. To be fair, once

we informed Riccardo, he did offer to come and fix it, but we were always on the run and did not want to wait for him to come and re-set it. I also note that during our stay, there was a lot of construction going on in the area, so we were woken up quite early each day - which is not the host's fault.

We loved every minute of our short stay. Walking at night over to plazzale michelangelo with the best view over town and the next day just taking off to explore Florence from the front door step. Riccardo is super helpful and we took his advice for the dinner restaurant and breakfast. Overall a great start to our vacation
