The condominium has original charm and is light and bright - with many windows to enjoy tropical breezes... keeping it pleasant and comfortable even on the warmest day. Master bedroom and bath upstairs. Living room, kitchen, dining area, and guest bathroom on 1st floor. Flat-screen tv. Free WiFi. Air conditioning for both first and second floors.

Kapalua is a destination resort area with several beautiful beaches, including one of the most beautiful in the world -- consistently ranked as Maui's best beach. Come see the whales, play amazing golf at nearby courses or enjoy the best snorkeling - the best bay and beaches on the island are just a short walk below the unit. There are 2 pools (with BBQs) to chose from plus the unit is very close to the Ritz Carlton which has great restaurants. You can walk to the Honolua Store which has quick service for breakfast or lunch as well as various sundries. And don't forget about nearby Sansei - boasting the best sushi on the island.

Great spot
This place feels like you are staying at a friend’s place - and I mean that in the best way. It is homey, comfortable, has everything you need to make meals and live comfortably. You can walk to restaurants, beaches. Some great walking trails - really recommend the Village Walk on the old golf course. Good birding in the forest. And even though it is a busy area of Maui, the Ridge Estates is quiet and peaceful.

Stay in Kamalua
This was the nicest VRBO my wife and I have ever stayed in, and we have stayed in lots. The unit itself is beautiful, the view from the 2nd floor bedroom and the first floor sitting area is stunning and the location is fantastic. It is perfect for one couple but could also accommodate a couple of others comfortable sleeping together on a pull out couch on the first floor.. The unit is very close (walkable) to lovely beaches and also to nice restaurants. Would recommend the place and the location to anyone travelling to Maui. Dave and Lynn

Wonderful stay
Property was a great spot to relax in between sojourns, especially on Lanai with ocean breeze. Location is great. We thoroughly enjoyed our week.

Views Are Amazing
We typically stay in the Golf Villas but decided to give the Ridge a try. The location is fantastic and the views from the condo are spectacular. But, in our opinion, that was the end of the good reviews for this condo. Not sure why it has 5 stars. It is the most dated condo we've stayed in. The carpets are so old there is no padding left under it and it is dirty. I never wear shoes indoors but we felt we had to in this condo. My socks were dirty after wearing them once. The lanai is extremely small and there is no privacy from it at all. The condo is right next to the walking path to the pool and out of the complex so it is busy and can be noisy. Sitting on the lanai has zero privacy from that and people are within feet of you. The microwave doesn't work properly. Only 2 power levels, 1 and 10. Nothing in between. Not a well stocked kitchen although the blender worked great for the chi chi's! The dryer's heating element seems to be going on it. The bathroom/shower drain was so clogged that we had to go get some Liquid Plumber! The cleaners should have noticed this right away! The cleaners also didn't clean the windows so we had to do that as well so that we could actually see the ocean. The furniture is very old and the chairs are very uncomfortable. The bed is really soft so if that bothers you, as it did my husband, you may not like it. I found it fine though. While we loved the location we didn't care for the condo.
