I'm an independent traveler. I love to travel! I like cinema, literature, well everything that is related to culture and art. I love to discover new people and new way to thinking. I humbly think that I'm a good host because I have a lot of respect about people and their things. As a host, I do all I can to make people feel comfortable and relax. I try to make the world a better place to live in and I do my best to be part of that solution.
Pierre purchased this Apartment in 2009
Why Pierre chose La Cité-Limoilou
Ideal for two guests, but the apartment can accommodate 4 people because it has a double sofa bed in the lounge. Fully equipped to live like at home you find: WiFi, cable TV.. Several ingredients and basic spices for cooking are provided. 10 minutes walk to the grocery store is open 7 days. Two blocks from the shopping street rue St-Joseph offers shops, specialty stores, cafes, bakery, fish, chocolate, bars, restaurants etc.. Everything is on foot: Old Quebec, Old Port and its market, museums and historic sites all.
What makes this Apartment unique
Even in the heart of downtown, in addition to comfort my apartment also offers tranquility as it does not directly on the street, and you can enjoy all the charms of Old Quebec, its historic sites, its shows, festivals, carnivals, Cirque du Soleil, Red Bull crashed ice, restaurants, theaters, skating rinks, slides, ... because everything is done on foot.

The property is lovely. However, it is not the property I reserved and was told this was because of a water leak in the original property. I wasn't told that this was a 3rd floor walk up which was a bit of a challenge with two children, bags, etc. I was told it would sleep 4 so was good for one adult and two kids. However, the pull out sofa was painful to sleep on. I should have received info regarding the change in property much sooner and should have been given an option to change my rental or at the very least get more information about the change in time to make a decision. Otherwise the property was nice, clean and in a great location. I dealt with the property owner's friend and not the owner himself.
Thank you for your review Patricia. It's appreciate. I would have liked to let you know earlier but I did not decide of the moment when the neighbor have water damage. Unfortunately. What is certain is that I preferred to relocate you rather than see you homeless a few days before your arrival. Please never hesitate to ask more questions. I'm here to answer it. Two pull out sofa was in this apartment. Have you try the second? I'm sorry to hear that.
Magic Experience in Old Quebec City
We had a 5 star+ apartment in our 5 days in the Old City of Quebec. We are well traveled people and this was our finest experience in accommodations. The Chateau Frontenac was right outside our window and, literally, only 5 minutes walk away. The apartment is stunning and comfortable. Beautiful comfortable furniture and elegant architecture. A joy to turn the key and walk inside. Everything one could possible wish for. Spacious and beautiful. The kitchen was very well equipped. Everything one might need . Lovely large, comfortable bedroom. A big wardrobe for clothes, excellent bed and windows with views. We were upgraded to this superior apartment. Pierre was incredibly helpful! He telephoned us within minutes of our inquiries! We had several conversations. His guidance was 5 star plus! He provided all kinds of information in emails to us. We parked our car in the underground garage he recommended. We never used our car at all because the Old City was so accessible and walkable. We loved our time there and will definitely return again! Already planning it! Thank you, Pierre, for this marvelous experience. Thank you, Pierre!
This apartment had everything we could wish for. Kitchen, laundry amenities like cable and internet.
Pierre took good care of us and we had a lovely stay. Location was perhaps one of the best features but honestly that gets overlooked in the context of the lovely apartment.
Not the place we signed up for, which had water damage. This unit was a suitable replacement. Great location, the unit was clean and comfortable, and Pierre was very responsive.
Quiet but close to everything
We also stayed at an alternate location. Was amazingly quiet, but just a couple of blocks from the "tourist" area of Old Quebec. The property was nicely appointed and had a good amount of space. Was perfect for the two of us.
Great apartment in a great city!
Although the property was not the same as advertised, it was much better. It was a beautiful place with French Quebec antiques everywhere. Very tastefully done and in a great location. The owner was not available but did leave instructions for us and there were no issues while we were there.
There is much to see and do nearby with only a short walk to Dufferin terrace, The Plains of Abraham, the Citadel and plenty of shopping and restaurants. You really don't need a car once inside the old city
