About Rick & Sue
My wife Sue and I moved into the Adirondacks in 2002 after living on the shores of Lake Champlain in Plattsburgh, NY for 10 years. Not a bad place to live at all but it was time for a change. We fell in love with the Adirondacks, and specifically 'Ausable Acres' on our first visit. You will too. It is quiet, wooded with wildlife everywhere.
Rick & Sue purchased this Cabin in 2006
Why Rick & Sue chose Jay
We purchased the undeveloped lot in 2004 and completed our log home in 2006. We are very proud of ourselves :) We take great satisfaction in the complements we get from our most wonderful past guests.

Cozy and Comfy!
Great place to stay if you want a quiet location that’s close to Whiteface. Really enjoyed the access to the fireplace and the two bathrooms were a great addition! Would def stay again!
Had a great time in your cabin, it was a great getaway!!
The property was perfect however I texted the property owner the day I was coming up on how to get into the cabin and he never responded.
There were 4 controls for the TV and no instructions for which controller to use ( it was a little frustrating)
The cabin was very clean and location was perfect I look forward to coming up in the spring (May time frame) to trout fish on the Ausable River.
We loved staying at the A-frame in the woods in Jay. The property was lovely, comfortable, and definitely cozy on the cold days. It had all the amenities we needed.
Thank you for the wonderful stay! :)
It was a wonderful weekend to celebrate his birthday! The cabin was close to everything.
Rick and sue's property was amazing. Located in a quiet area not far from anywhere you need to go, the cabin was in great shape, and was a cozy retreat after our days on whiteface. We will be back to the adks, and we will be renting the same property for sure!
Very well set up. Great place! We would recommend to others
