Great spot - lovely owner
We had a wonderful time in Toronto and were super comfy in this ideal location. Amanda was super nice letting us know all about the spot. She left us a nice bottle of wine, supplies for coffee, etc.
3 level town-home in good area.
Pros: Location was very good, close to public transportation, restaurants & shopping.
The town-home had a nice kitchen but was on the lower level with second bath.
Cons: Owner did advertise 1500 sq.ft.TH but it would be helpful to say 3 level TH. More description or a floor-plan is needed.
Third floor had master bedroom & bath but no doors to close off downstairs noise, open staircase. The bathroom had sliding door with the shower & tub, 2 shower curtains, one at entrance, second one over double glass doors to front of home.
The second bedroom on main floor was very small with a folding door that could close but had an open transom space at the top. You can't close off noise from the living room when trying to sleep. Plus, the second bathroom was down stairs and very small; no bathroom on the main (living room) floor.
We knew that we would need to do pay parking at a city lot but still a challenge to park short term to unload or load your car. Weather can also make this a challenge.
Great owner communication, lovely location, and overall a super stay!
Welcoming and clean with kind consideration of small personal requests. Only one drawback...My daughters and I had a hard time getting on our way as the beds were so comfy and the showers so relaxing! Quiet neighborhood; sorry if we were the loudest ones.
Not a criticism, just a reminder to bring all your food items if you plan on cooking. The kitchen set-up is great, yet needs a bit of pantry stocking for basic spices.
Not much going on at the Distillery District the Friday we were there; one might want to go when the weather breaks. Definitely attend the Alumnae Theatre steps away, we were delighted with good performances inside a unique venue!
