We had some issues, but the property owner responded within a few hours
Trash was left outside door and had been enjoyed by animals with garbage on the sidewalk. Lights in parts of house did not work. Handle on shower door was broken. Water did not drain in shower. We found dead flies inside bowls we were going to use. Pillows need to be replaced. Beds are comfortable. Floors are very uneven through the house. We called the owner after the first night and he came out within a few hours to address most of the issues.
Fabulous kitchen and shower!
Good place for the price.
Not a bad place for several nights. Neighborhood looks a bit rough but we didn’t have any problems during our stay. Parking was convenient as we were able to park on the street right in front of the house. Everything worked as advertised but upstairs can get a bit toasty. It was comfortable and clean for a long weekend and what you would expect for the price.
Nice & Accomodating
Loved Louisville, fun town, lots to do!!! House was lovely, 3 bedrooms worked great! Wish there were 2 bathrooms and better lighting, but we all made it work out just fine!
Bourbon Festival Pad
Very good experience in the Germantown area. House was great for a 3 guys trip and we we enjoyed finding the local flavor at the taverns and restaurants in the area when we weren't hitting the distilleries, Louisville Slugger Museum , etc.
The neighborhood is known as 'Germantown' as it was originally settled by German immigrants in decades gone by. Since then it has become a hub for young professionals and all demographics, a real melting pot within the city full of culture and interesting spots! Most houses on the block have been renovated and there are many local eateries and bars within walking distance, all of which offer something unique! Please bear in mind you're staying in a residential / commercial area within the city. It's perfectly safe, with lots to enjoy, but it's not suburbia. If you want suburbia, look in St Matthews, but you'll have a further drive.
