This ocean-themed, light-filled 1-bedroom luxury villa with an additional sleeper sofa for little ones at Hamilton Cove in Avalon on beautiful Santa Catalina Island INCLUDES A GOLF CART (valued at $40+ per hour in town!). FREE WIFI, Netflix, BBQ with propane included. Looks out from the bedroom, living room and patio over the peaceful ocean. A private white-sand beach, pool, spa and workout room are all just about 100 steps away! Grill shrimp and veggies for dinner on the mood-lit patio, the lights of the mainland faint in the distance. Master Suite features luxurious pillow-top king sleep comfort with a wake-up call from the vivid sunrise! Bathroom features two entries, double sinks, tub and shower combo with detachable flex shower head. Expertly cleaned and sanitized, this beautiful villa is a perfect choice for a couple to share a spacious king bed, and will accommodate up to two additional small children or one teen (ONLY) on a sleeper sofa featuring a memory foam mattress. Full kitchen, all linens provided; built-in fully-lighted ironing board. A cheery design theme featuring Catalina, ocean and mermaid art, plus all amenities mentioned (and mini-golf and tennis courts) make this the perfect getaway at a great value!

VALUE GUARANTEE - Why is La Casa Sirena such a great value? Unlike some big companies, we are proud to charge only what our cleaning company charges us with nothing tacked on, and NO "golf cart insurance," no "administrative fee," no "processing fee," no "mandatory damage waver" or any other fees from us! (The service fee you'll see is charged by VRBO.) For our longer-term guests: We apply a 5% discount to a stay of 7 consecutive nights, and a 10% discount for a month's stay (28 consecutive nights).

PLEASE NOTE that like most units at Hamilton Cove, ours has stair-only access. While each of our 58 stairs has a beautiful ocean view, please consider the access requirements of all guests prior to booking.

Memorable Stay
Our stay was a memorable one. The condo had a breathtaking view that greeted us every morning. While the property showed some signs of aging it was evident that it had been well-maintained and cleaned thoroughly. Despite any minor imperfections, the condo was comfortable and provided a cozy retreat after a day of island adventures. One of the highlights of the stay was the inclusion of a golf cart with the property. This made getting around the island convenient and added an extra layer of fun to the trip. Overall, our stay at this property was fantastic, the combination of the stunning views, the charm of the island, made for a memorable vacation.

Recuperation in Hamilton Cove!
We had the most lovely stay! The bed, sheets, and pillows in this unit were so comfortable we were able to relax so deeply after a week long work conference in Long Beach. The kitchen and bbq grill had everything you need to cook beautiful meals and, having access to the golf cart to tool around on the island was amazing. (Definitely hike Hermit Gulch to Lone Tree Trail to the top of the island for sunset.) We even did our laundry before packing up to leave which makes getting home so much easier. I saw a review or two about the unit being dated but they kind of all are in Hamilton Cove. We ran into a lady one year in the ferry line who owns multiple units in Hamilton Cove and she explained that getting materials ferried over is super cost prohibitive but worse, the HOA won’t so much as let owners change out the glitchy door locks. They make renovations pretty difficult as they see it as preserving the look. We thought this unit was totally comfortable and standard or above for Hamilton Cove. Totally recommend!

Best Getaway Condo
Me and my boyfriend stayed here for our two year anniversary and Valentine’s Day. Check in was easy, just unlock the box and you have your keys. The condo was very nice. A little on the older side of things but overall was very nice. Refrigerator has no water or water filter but has a freezer with ice. Condo comes with a golf cart which was very fun to have. Did not have to refill the cart more than once. The TVS did give us a hassle at first but was able to watch everything perfectly fine. Perfect balcony view. Pool and spa were good and clean. Condo comes with tennis rackets and golf clubs. Only thing is tennis courts do not supply tennis balls and we didn’t see any in the room. In the room there is plenty of kitchen ware, entertainment things such as DVDs for the DVD player, card games, and extra useful items. Overall, perfect for just me and my boyfriend. Again a little outdated items but everything worked as intended. Will definitely stay here again for the privacy away from the island and all the things included with the room.

Mel Dinkel and Leslie Baer Dinkel met on non-other than Santa Catalina Island. A few years later, we were married at Descanso Beach (highly recommended!) in Avalon. Catalina holds so many memories for us, and since we are not on the Island all the time, we wanted to create an 'affordable luxury' accommodation where people could make their own memories! Since lots of families come to Catalina, it had to be fun -- thus, 'La Casa Sirena' (The Mermaid House) which includes both Catalina and Mermaid themes. And now, we have two locations: This one at Hamilton Cove which accommodates up to 4, AND La Casa Sirena at Bahia Vista A-05 which accommodates 6!

We wanted this property to be romantic for couples, and so, we added a super-comfortable KING bed, and a barbecue and lighting to take full advantage of the patio where while dining you will enjoy sweeping ocean views. In short, we wanted our properties to be comfortable enough to be our home away from home, and yours too!
