Perfect place to retreat to!
My husband and I just stayed here with our pup and it was wonderful! Malcolm was a great host and very easy to communicate with. He checked in with us to make sure everything was ok. The house is adorable, very clean and we had plenty of space. The yard was perfect for our pup and us to relax in. We felt very much at home. We grilled dinner and used the fire pit after hitting the trails a couple of the nights when it wasn’t too windy. There are so many wonderful places within minutes that offer fresh local fare. You can also buy the best fresh local mussels and clams and cook them up yourself. The location is the best of both worlds, you are close to Acadia and down town bar harbor- but you also have peace and quiet in this lovely neighborhood that is surrounded by beautiful pine trees. Hadley point is within walking distant (or a short drive if you prefer) and has incredible sunsets. This is an absolute gem of a place and we really enjoyed our time there. We can’t wait to visit again!

Quiet seclusion
Very clean. Peaceful wooded area but still close to restaurants and Bar Harbor. Beds were comfortable and almost instant hot water, with great pressure, is a plus after a cold hike. Found a picturesque photo spot just minutes away on Hwy 3 and the Bar Harbor Narrows, with brilliant fall colors. Had an enjoyable stay.

The Best of Bar Harbour
Great location. Beautiful home with lots of windows to look out on the flowers and falling leaves. Lovely yard. Convenient layout with two large bedrooms and full bath upstairs, master bedroom and full bath downstairs. Well-stocked kitchen for cooking the freshest seafood ever from Parson's seafood market.

Cottage near Bar harbor
This is s traditional small New England cottage in a great location close to Bar Harbor. The cottage is in a private, wooded subdivision close to Hadley Point beach. You're within a few miles of the Hulls Cove entrance to Acadia NP and less than a mile from 2 excellent lobster shacks. It's an easy downhill drive to a small beach at Hadley Point where there's s great view across Frenchman's Bay. You can kayak or swim from there. It was hot and humid during our stay so we didn't use the new outdoor fire pit but it would be inviting during cooler weather. All in all, a comfortable base for visiting Bar Harbor and the rest of Mt. Desert Island.
