About Laura Pisko
Tamarack Breezes is custom built on undeveloped forest land with the goals of comfort and accessibility. It's landscaped with attention to natural elements. All the rocks in the retaining wall and around the back pond were hand picked from a local limestone quarry. They look like they have always been there! The cottage is furnished for comfort. We want everyone who comes to the cottage to feel relaxed, kick their shoes off and say 'Ahhhh....' 🙂 Laura and Don
Laura Pisko purchased this house in 2012
Why Laura Pisko chose Lion's Head
Laura loves this area of Ontario - she’s been spending family vacations here since she was very young. Family members live just a few miles away. Don knows the area too with old friends in the area. The property has pristine woodland, many native plants and copious amounts of birds that flock to the bird feeders and are fun to watch. The large lots in Little Pike Bay Estates provide maximum privacy. Tamarack Breezes is very accessible - it is a paved road from the highway.
What makes this house unique
Lots of activities to choose from in this area or you can chill and do absolutely nothing! The Bruce Peninsula is home to rare orchids, birds, and the Niagara Escarpment with hiking on the beautiful Bruce Trail. Getting away from the city to a serene peaceful setting like this revives one's spirit. Tamarack Breezes has the double pleasure of a woodland setting coupled with waterfront for swimming and watching water birds. Minnows swim along the shoreline. Previously we’ve enjoyed the antics of a mother mallard followed by darting ducklings - they were enjoying the minnows!
