About Mike Hrib
Hi, I am Mike. For those that know Christine and Tom, I am Christine's brother.
Mike Hrib purchased this Cabin in 2003
Why Mike Hrib chose Pigeon Forge
My wife, kids and I wanted to buy a cabin in the Great Smokey Mountains. When looking for cabins to purchase we had 4 things in mind—first we wanted mountain views. (what’s the point of coming to the mountains and not having a view right? ) Also we wanted our cabin to have a private setting (we didn't want to be in a neighborhood where you can put your hand out the window and touch your next-door neighbor.) Next we wanted our cabin to be close to town (we didn’t want to spend 25 minutes to get to the grocery store or to local attractions.) And lastly we wanted a cabin that had the amenities we were looking for (a hot tub on the deck, a pool table and fireplace) We were very fortunate to find a cabin that fit every aspect of our perfect cabin list. The only snafu we ran into was when we went to put an offer on the cabin, the seller said they would not just sell us one cabin. We had to purchase two. After much consideration we decided that it would be really nice to have two cabins right next door to each other.
What makes this Cabin unique
Let’s face it—there are thousands of really nice cabins in the area. What sets us apart is our location. We’re a hop and skip away from many local attractions like Dollywood, the Dixie Stampede and the Great Smokey Mountain National Park. In Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg the traffic can get a bit out of hand. What’s great about our cabin is easily assessable via back-roads, so you don’t have to spend your vacation waiting in traffic.

This place needs to be taken care of. Leaks upstairs, outdated baths and paint. It’s a great location that could use a little TLC
Leak was caused by the previous guest breaking the tub spout inside the wall and was repaired.
Enjoy staying here. Changed the date of our trip so we could stay at Tiffany Hallow. Leaves were beautiful colors on drive up to cabin. As always, the cabin was perfect. We have stayed at Tiffany Hallow at least 6 times and plan to return.
Needs some overall maintenance and the water stinks but it was clean and overall a very nice place a
Thanks for providing dog friendly lodging
Rod Run 2019
This property was perfect for the Rod Run. Not far from the strip, yet far enough to get out of the traffic and noise. Perfect.
Overall we had a great time in Tennessee for the week. The cabin is a great distance from anything you would want to do. We really enjoyed the hot tub and pool table. They also provided games like Jenga, which was fun. The king bed was comfortable but the sofa pull out was not comfortable.
The ac worked very well which was important because of the heat. The cabin could use some minor updating. When first walking in, you will find that everything is a lot older and worn looking than the pictures show. The furniture in the living room is quite old and worn. It was uncomfortable to sit on because it did not seem clean. I would recommend a leather couch in the future that can be wiped down and sanitized with each new guest. The back door needs new hardware, the door is tricky to lock. The view from the back deck is blocked by a tree, so you do not get the Mountain View that is promised.
Cleaning supplies are not provided. I would have like to have a bottle of Lysol to wipe down the counters and a simple broom to sweep the floors. Guests should also know you will have to buy toilet paper and possibly hand soap. We ran out of toilet paper the second day.
On our last night, the guests that were sleeping in the loft woke up to a squirrel looking at them from the rafters. This was an unpleasant experience.
Tennessee offers so many fun activities and the cabin was close enough to let us partake in all of them. When visiting to this cabin, you will have a nice stay but just keep in mind it is very homey and simple.
The perfect cozy cabin for our trip
Before arriving, Mike was very attentive and his instructions were very clear. The cabin was clean and he even had a binder with instructions and suggestions for our stay. The cabin itself is perfectly located just minutes from most of the attractions that we had planned. This definitely is one of the perks of this cabin. As for the cabin itself, everything was as expected from the pictures and some of the reviews. We used the hot tub every night and it comfortably fit 4 and we were able to wash and dry our clothes before leaving. We used the pool table as well and had no problems. Plenty of extra linens as well. My only negative and it wasn’t that big of an issue was the tv in the downstairs was not working or atleast we couldn’t get it to receive any channels. Again, we were so exhausted at the end of each night this was never a true concern.
Overall, you cannot go wrong with Tiffany Hallow. Great location and very cozy. Definitely would not mind staying here again for our next trip back.
