Great place to stay!
Would definitely recommend this apartment, it has everything you need, a real home from home. The Continental breakfast is a bonus. We would use this accommodation again without hesitation. Very easy to communicate with the owner is a bonus.
Thank you so much for this very kind review, we’re so happy you enjoyed your stay with us and we look forward to seeing you again soon.
Comfortable, quiet and spacious, but removed from city centre
The good-sized apartment was clean, very well-stocked (including continental breakfast supplies) and marvellously quiet. Host was very friendly and helpful. 20 mins walk to Belfast Castle and Cave Hill Park.
I think this would be ideal for those who are driving and intend to do day trips with Belfast as a home base. Not the most walker-friendly, as closest shop was 10 mins’ walk, and few pubs or restaurants in the immediate area. Good direct and frequent buses to centre, but again almost 10 mins’ walk to bus stop.
I would return to this property, as I now know how to navigate the public transit: the retreat from the noise and tourists is worth the walk!
Hello Matt, thank you for your very kind review. It was lovely having you both stay with us, as you know our apartment is in a very tranquil part of north Belfast for those looking a peaceful place to stay. Yes the main bus service is a 8/10 minute walk but there is a town service bus stop only a 2 minute walk. We really do look forward to seeing stay with us again. Alan
10 Star Hosts
We stayed in this lovely 2 bedroom apartment for five days. It was extremely spacious ( especially for the UK) and located in a pretty and quiet area of Belfast. We travelled everywhere by bus which was a convenient walk from the apartment. The hosts were overwhelmingly kind and provided us with plenty of supplies for our stay. We were clearly spoiled on this leg of our journey!
Hello Greg & Anne, thank you so much for your kind review, it was lovely to have met you both and for your lovely Canadian gift which I plan to show to my family when they arrive from Canada at the end of the month. We hope the next time you stay it will be even more pleasurable. Alan & Annemarie
Great place to relax and recharge
Our stay at the luxury penthouse apartment was a big treat! Accommodations were great and Alan made the stay seamless! Julie
Hi Julie, thank you so much for your kind words and for staying at our apartment, it was lovely meeting you, looking forward to seeing you again. Alan
All the home comforts...
A colleague and I booked for one night whilst in Belfast on business and found ourselves wishing we were staying for a few days, as the apartment really was the perfect place to stay. Very clean and comfortable, this apartment had everything we needed and was a home away from home. Alan, our very friendly and gracious host, was there to greet us on arrival and he even throws in a well stocked fridge of breakfast items, gratis. It's so refreshing when you discover the accommodation you've booked turns out to be exactly as described and promised. Book and you won't be disappointed.
Hi Mark, thank you so much for this very kind review, we are so happy that you really enjoyed your stay at our apartment and we look forward to seeing you again soon. Alan
Hands down the BEST!
Quiet, end of the road and tucked in behind a golf course. This was our favorite accommodation as we toured the UK and Ireland. Alan met us when we arrived and gave us a quick tour and made sure we knew where to head for dinner. He had great recommendations for our drive up the coast to the Giants Causeway and Dunluce Castle. We slept well in the spacious bedrooms and had plenty of space to relax at the end of our days of exploring Belfast. We definitely recommend this apartment. I've already told friends if they are headed to Belfast that we know where they should stay. Thanks for everything!
Hi Heather & Katy, thank you for this lovely review, we are so glad you had such a great time while staying with us and your tour around Ireland, we hope to see you again and welcome some of your friends when they arrive? Thanks Alan
BEACHES AND CALANQUES
Cap Rousset beach (Carry le Rouet): Just 800 m from the Villa, a cove located in the heart of the Carry le Rouet marine reserve. With its welcoming little beach restaurant, the place is perfect for families.
La Calanque des bouchons (Carry le Rouet): A calanque little known and frequented only by locals. Located in the heart of the Carry le Rouet maritime natural reserve, remember to take a mask and snorkel, you will come back amazed.

The coves of the Blue Coast: At the gates of Carry le Rouet, Niolon via Lavès then Ensuès la Redonne, do not hesitate to go and discover these small villages clinging to the rock and the turquoise waters of their creeks.

WALKING WALKS AND HIKES
The Lizard path (Carry le Rouet): Former customs path, this landscaped path bordering the sea is dotted with information commenting on the local flora and fauna. The walk starts from the village and takes this track to discover a small part of this magnificent coast.
On the heights of Carry le Rouet: Far from the beaten track, you will find many paths surrounded by nature with a view of the sea and where you can stroll as sandstone as you want, go practice running or Mountain biking for example.
Notre Dame du Rouet (Carry le Rouet): A relaxing place with a magnificent view.
The Tower facing the island of Erevine (Ensuès-la-Redone): An exceptional ballad! It is the most beautiful cove on the Blue Coast.
Les Goudes (Marseille): Mythical place in Marseille. Small traditional port still sheltering some fishermen, the Goudes are both the gateway to the creeks and the starting point for hikers to the Massif. But also a paradise for swimmers, fishermen, divers, lovers of grandiose landscapes ... In short, almost everyone finds something to it!
Le Château d'If and Frioul: Remember to take a head covering, a protective cream and water because there is very little place to take shelter on these two stones and the sun beats strong in summer! Do not forget to take your swimsuit ... you will not resist diving in such beautiful waters.
