This unique and stunning home near Coos Bay is a great place to get away from the stress of everyday life. With fabulous views of the forested scenery, a stylish and comfortable interior, and plenty of peace and quiet to enhance relaxation, you will love it here!

Located east of downtown Coos Bay, this home is far enough away that you won't be bothered by the sounds of traffic, but still close enough that you can easily drive in for groceries, a bite to eat, or some fun shopping. Coos Bay and its close neighbor, North Bend, have a surprising variety of businesses, ranging from a wonderful casino, to the famous dunes nearby, plus great fishing areas, and of course Cranberry Sweets, an absolutely fantastic candy store.

When you return to this home after a day of exploring the area, you will be wowed by its unique appearance and luxurious interior. With one bedroom (and a loft) each with a bed, this house has ample space for guests.

A huge living area with lots of seating and fabulous two-story windows overlooks the surroundings, and a pressed wood log in the fireplace will banish any coastal chills. An enormous kitchen stocked with all kinds of appliances and extras (like an espresso machine!) awaits for you to cook up whatever your heart desires.

The living room downstairs has a huge library of books and some board games to keep you busy, and the loft area has a TV complete with cable and a selection of DVD and VHS movies. You will also enjoy WiFi access during your stay. The upstairs bathroom also has a fabulously luxurious soaking tub with a window that overlooks the forested scenery.

Additional amenities include a washer/dryer and an EV car charging station for electric cars.

If you want to spend a relaxing vacation in a secluded area surrounded by beauty, this is a great house for you! And within a short drive are amazing activities such as ocean fishing, strolling on the sandy beach, enjoying an ATV ride on the world-famous dunes, walking through the mall in North Bend, and exploring the shops in town. Near the end of August every year, the town holds a delightful Blackberry Festival, but this is a nice area to visit at any time of year.

For a peaceful getaway to a gorgeous home surrounded by the beauty of nature, this rental is just the place to visit!

Things to know:
The fireplace is for burning pressed wood logs only. Burning wood logs will cause damage.

Simply magical
I so enjoyed this beautiful, unique home high on the hill in a quiet, natural setting. Its architecture is just wonderful, and its enormous windows look out into a treed valley. Very much enjoyed the owner's selection of period CDs such as Sinatra and collections of retro tunes. The kitchen is well appointed and has everything you'd possibly need for cooking during your stay. The fireplace is so cozy at night, but I have to say I think supplying only one firelog for a multi-day stay is disappointing. I would think one log per day of a stay would a considerate thing to do. I did buy a half-dozen box at Fred Meyer. The beds were comfortable enough and the tub was divine. It was a wonderful place to reconnect with my creative side and do some writing in the beautiful peace and quiet. I would 100% stay at this property again, and I hope to do so in another season. Thank you, owners, for sharing your gem of a property. I absolutely love your taste. You must be really cool people.

Still A Great House
Have come to this property several times and have enjoyed it consistently. It's comfortable with a very nice view over the hills. Note that there is only one shower and it is downstairs, where there are no bedrooms. The bathtub in the primary BR seems nice, but have never used it. There is no shower in that bathroom.
