Winter for southerners
Very neat little cabin. Cozy, cozy. A foot of snow and it snowed more while we were here. Sort of missed being connected a little bit but not much. Out of the way but within 15 minutes of dining, fuel etc. would stay here again.
Thanks so much for staying with us! We are glad to hear you enjoyed your stay! Please visit us again when your schedule allows!
Wonderful Winter Holiday
Wonderful cozy cabin and the views are spectacular. We had everything we needed and the roads to the cabin are very well maintained for winter stays. Great selection of movies!! We hiked Florrisant Fossil area and Mueller State Park, both were great. We will definitely return. There are so many hikes we would like to do and loved the privacy of the cabin.
Thanks so much for leaving your review! We look forward to having you as our guest again when your schedule allows!
Thanksgiving in paradise
My husband, pup and I spent a fabulous Thanksgiving at this beautiful cabin. Outside we enjoyed incredible views in a blanket of fresh snow. Several bucks and does walked through our yard. Cabin very cozy and equipped with everything we needed. Will definitely like to come back again.
Everything we expected
Beautiful cabin away from it all. The cabin was very clean and had all the amenities you need for a weekend or even week stay in the mountains. You can enjoy a very nice view of Pikes Peak from the front patio. Be aware the cabin is around 9,500’ in elevation so if you live at basically sea level like us be prepared for some time to adjust.
Relaxing, scenic getaway
The views simply cannot be captured properly in pictures. It snowed while we were there and that just made everything seem magical.
The kitchen was well stocked with equipment, and was used for most of our meals during the 4 days we were there. We did bring our instant pot to make chili and soup faster, but could've done without easily.
The deck chairs and hammock got a lot of use while we were there, and the stereo speakers on the deck were a nice bonus for our music loving family.
The day after it snowed, a truck came and plowed the driveway so presumably we could've left to go do things. The kids didn't want to go anywhere though. They were having too much fun playing in the snow.
Next time we want to visit Colorado in the summer if possible, and we'd definitely stay here again!
Motorcycle/ATV off road trails, Breckenridge/Copper Mountain/Keystone/Monarch ski areas all within an hour to an hour and a half's drive
