Comfortable and Homey
For us this was a wonderful place for a quiet romantic getaway. We've been to Maple Creek and the Cypress Hills various times over the past decade but this was the first time we did so without bringing kids or family with us and the "Cottage of Content" was a perfect home away from home. While it could easily accommodate a larger family it is also cozy enough to make it great for just a couple.
We enjoyed total privacy during our stay and the benefits of having a fully stocked house, deck and yard to use as our own are just too numerous to mention. It was WAY better than a hotel room or a shared space B&B in our opinion. Little things like having ziploc bags for leftovers were greatly appreciated. The owners were very friendly and available yet also gave us our space.
We would absolutely recommend this place to any of our friends and we would happily stay here again in the future.
Maple Creek Cottage
Our stay was perfect. Location was great for exploring the area or going out to eat. No neighbors on either side ensured privacy on peaceful back deck. Price was reasonable. Only suggestion might be a new mattress in middle bedroom.
Very clean cozy relaxing. The cottage had everything we needed. We will definately stay here again.
Comfortable and well located.
Our family of 5 stayed 3 nights in early July and although the weather was rainy, the cottage was cozy and the hosts were friendly. We enjoyed Maple Creek and the Cypress Hills and this was a nice place to return to at the end of each day’s adventures. We hope to visit again some day!
Wonderful house in a wonderful community!
It was great to have a home away from home. Jane and Blaine are amazing hosts! Made me feel like part of the community.
Thank you so much Angela! Looking forward to seeing you again! Jane
