New Year stopover
Great location next to Westwood and close to town centre. Finding a free permit holders parking space close to the property was a challenge over the holiday period but overall it suited our requirements.
Lovely Victorian house in brilliant location
Good friendly communication with owner.
Lovely house 2 min walk from the open fields of the Westwood and 3 min walk to the town centre.
House is clean and well maintained, bar a few cracked tiles and spots in the bath.
Finding parking is an issue at times, even after buying a permit.
Upstairs had 2 lovely size bedrooms (plus possibly another on a 3rd floor which we didn't use.
Downstairs, the bathroom was basic, user friendly kitchen (no microwave) with lots of pots pans and utensils.
Cosy dining room and lovely large living room, both with log fires and comfy sofas made the house very relaxing with a lovely feel to it.
Would definatly book again.

Yes the parking especially over the Christmas period can be more busy than normal, due to holidays. Unfortunately we did have an item that fell on the kitchen floor and cracked some tiles but we are replacing these. Of course we would be pleased to host you again if you wander over these parts again.

A liitle piece of French Chic
This is a lovely property, in easy walking distance of the town centre, restaurants and bars. The beds were really comfy and we had acess to items in the fridge, which helped as we arrived later than expected. Karina had told us about the parking, so we were able to book a residents' parking permit for when we arrived, which was reallly helpful as you cannot be sure where you will find a space as the terraces (like ours at home) have only on-street parking. Karina's daughter also lent us her discount card for local restaurants, which was great.
