Beautiful views. Fireplace and outdoor fire pit. Well equipped kitchen. Really cozy. Comfortable. Private. Everything we hoped for. We had a wonderful December stay. I’m certain this home is great year round. Thank you to a wonderful host, Lorrie
has it all!
We stayed in the fall when the leaves were turning. The view from the outside (and from the living room and breakfast nook) was amazing! Gorgeous and peaceful. The house is wonderfully decorated and has lots of charm. Owners were very helpful throughout process.
As billed - great place
Perfect for midsummer sojourn to a little piece of paradise.
Amazing Weekend! Loved being able to get away from the City. Was a great view and a great relaxing weekend!
Great memorial day weekend getaway!
Overall just a great place to relax and hang with friends and family. The beds could've been more comfortable, but not a deal breaker. We enjoyed the vast front yard and perfect views of the mountains. The host was prompt with communication.
WHAT A VIEW!!!
Wow…what a view! We had a great time at this home. House is super clean and cozy. It was very cold while we were there and we never got to “sit” outside by the fire. Our eyes were always looking towards the window and the view. We had beautiful sunrises and even while the sun did not set in our view, the colors cast over the trees below were sensational. We spent a lot of time after our “adventurous hiking days” by the inside fireplace. There was plenty of wood and it sure warmed us up!
One of my favorite spots was in the kitchen “nook”. The view was so serene! We even chose to have our Thanksgiving dinner in the kitchen so we could look out the window.
House super clean and cozy. Those are very important to us. Within about an hour we found all types of hiking excursions; Bash Bish Falls, Teconic State Park, Kaaterskill Falls, Overlook Mountain. Karma Triana Dharmachakra Buddhist Temple and Dover Stone Church (hard to find but we did, the cave and walk were magical), We ate a lot at home but did have a delicious breakfast at The Farmers Wife, seconds from the house. Seemed to be a lot of restaurants pretty close to the house but we had not checked them out as we mostly ate closer to our hiking destinations. Would definitely return. You should not miss this beautiful, peaceful home!
Exceptional hiking in and around the area
