House itself is great but we had alot of problems, the washing machine, refrigerator and wifi broke or did not work .the sheets were musty smelling [no washing machine] had buy new. Water level was to high so no private beach.
All were fixed as fast as posible but very inconvenient when on vacation
Had an incredible time, love the property
Gorgeous property, comfortable cabin
We brought our family of 4 and small dog to this property for a long weekend as part of visiting Niagara Falls (about a 30-40 minute drive). The locations is absolutely gorgeous... the pictures do not do the views justice. The beach is private and wonderful and unlike what I was expecting for Lake Erie. The cabin itself is a bit dated, lighting was limited and there was no television... but these things added to it's unique charm in many ways. The house has a lot of character and more than enough room for a family or group to relax comfortably. Owner was extremely conscientious, courteous and responsive. Would love to return!
Tree house on the lake
We loved our stay here. The house is beautifully located in the woods (very private) but then 82 steps (yes, I counted) down to your very own private beach - during our week we saw maybe 5-6 people walking by. The water was unusually high this year, so the beach was a little small, but you could take a nice short walk to the lighthouse, or a nice long walk the other direction. The house has amazing wall to ceiling windows for a great view of the sunset every night. The house, while a little older, has a ton of charm and everything you need for a simple stay at the beach.
Niagara Falls and beautiful Niagara-on-the-Lake are about 20 miles away. Besides these magnificent natural scenic wonders, there is plenty of shopping, site seeing, and gambling.
