Lovely, tasteful, 3 bedroom, 2 bath, 2400 s.f. water view home
My husband and I fell in love with the Puget Sound area when our son moved there ten years ago. We decided this would be the perfect place to spend our vacations, and we've enjoyed sharing our home with others who also enjoy the peaceful energy of the beautiful Pacific Northwest.
Kathy purchased this House in 2014
Why Kathy chose Shelton
After looking at many properties in the Puget Sound area, Dawnview struck a chord with its peaceful setting and lovely water views.

An absolutely beautiful home with a stunning view of Mt. Rainier and the Puget Sound!! The home was well supplied with everything -and more- we needed. Paper plates galore for pizza night! Kathy is wonderful and stays on top of communication! I highly recommend this home!
Dawnview Crest Retreat
This was our first trip to the Puget Sound area and this house. Everything was exactly as described and then some. The property was accurately described, the price was more than fair, and everything that was needed, except food and personal items, was provided. The house was very relaxing and the setting was spectacular. We definitely will travel again to the Dawnview Crest retreat. Thank you Kathy and Big Joe.
Perfect for our two families
Loved it! Beautiful spot with deer strolling by each evening. The house has a jacuzzi tub and a huge upstairs set up with a pool table. Our group was two families composed of six adults and two teens and it always felt like there was plenty of room. The dining table seats 8 (or more) and was great to play games on.
Relaxing stay on Dawnview Villa
We had a relaxing stay at the Dawnview villa; the property met our expectations and the property manager (Kathy Archer) was very responsive to our needs. The lot is large and the house is well separated from neighboring homes. The kitchen is well equipped so that it convenient to cook family meals at the house without the need to go out. A fresh seafood store is close by, and we were able to easily prepare meals such as clams linguine using fresh Manila clams we got from the nearby store. Plus you can get Pacific oysters from the seafood store that are easy to barbecue. Please be aware there is a Safeway roughly 6 miles away for other items. The house is conveniently located as a central launch point for daily excursions to the Hood Canal, Port Townsend, and the southern portion of the Olympic Peninsula. (We found that a trip to the Sol Duc Hot Springs on the northern side of the Olympic National Park was a bit much to do in one day). Plus there is lots to do at the house itself if you choose not to go out for the day. For one day of our trip, we played Boche and Unno for the day. We also enjoyed just walking around the property and seeing deer sightings and just enjoying the quiet. Plus Kathy was helpful in mailing us a few small items we inadvertently left in one of the rooms.
Very great home, close to Shelton for groceries, gas, or dinning out; was very central for our kayak outings. Very comfortable, clean and well cared for.
