About Tim or Elaine Day
We had a blast in building our house - 24 years ago. Our goal is to make you happy.
Why Tim or Elaine Day chose Stevensville
With three sides state land the property allows no end of privacy. If you are looking for openness and spaciousness and a feeling of freedom, this is it. You'll find no better views of the valley than Eagle's Nest. It has a 360 degree panoramic view.
What makes this Estate unique
One of our guests said, 'Your house is like a cruise ship that landed atop a mountain.' At night I you can see the lights of the entire valley, from Hamilton in the south, to Victor in the west, to Stevensville and Florence in the north.

Griz, cutthroat, white tails & a view
The views of the valley is superb from this place. It works beautifully if your trip is about location and seclusion while having access to other adventure activities. House is wonderfully situated for fishing local rivers, attending Griz games or events in the valley, and remote enough to find white tail deer in the driveway when you return. Tim & Elaine were helpful and attentive hosts. We’re planning our next visit.
Lots of Space - incredible views
The property was perfect for the needs of our family. Everyone was able to have their own space when needed and the common areas were plenty big to accomodate all of us.
We were there for a wedding that was located nearby. The house was great. The owners were accommodating and answered any questions promptly. The views were the best part! Beautiful 360 degree Mountain views!
This is a beautiful home with breathtaking views from every room.
Our family rented both the main house (Eagle's Nest) and the one-bedroom cottage that is on the property for a family Christmas getaway. We were visiting our oldest grandson, his wife, and their new baby who live in Hamilton, MT. We needed a large home to accommodate our family and this property provided the room we needed.
Although not wheelchair-bound, I have major accessibility issues caused by compression of my lumbar spine and resulting diminished physical capabilities. Unfortunately, this property, nor any I looked at in the area, are handicapped accessible. What a blessing it would be to many if owners would upgrade their properties to ensure they are accessible to those with physical handicaps. I believe both VRBO and owners would find that by providing handicap accessibility, their marketing efforts would improve. While lack of accessibility for me presented some problems, I nonetheless enjoyed my visit to beautiful Montana immensely. Dayle Fowler, 228 wild Iris Lane, Clarkesville, GA 30523
Incredible views, Not a Sunset's and Sunrises missed. The Milkyway stars above at night a true gift
If you are not comfortable with stairs, or dead animals on the wall-this house is not for you. But if you are ok with those couple things, great location to settle into. Drive from main road is 20 min. But view well worth the drive. Just not multiple times a day. Shop first. =) Also on the property- *The Loft sleeps 4-6 and the Cottage sleeps 2; both have been updated, unlike the main house. A garage would have been nice to use at ground level, just for supplies would have been nice. Having to haul everything up and down could have worked out better. Home Owner does pick up garbage daily down at ground level by the garages. I Loved the times I had the whole hill side to myself. So great for my souls growth.
I'm glad our client enjoyed our sunsets and views. Unfortunately, she was one of the few who broke our - no pet - policy, though she clearly understood it. Furthermore, Eagle's Nest isn't a 20 min.drive off the highway, it isn't even 4 miles. As far as the wildlife mounts, didn't Roy Rogers have Trigger stuffed? Isn't this Montana?
Great house, amazing location, awesome views!
We were in the area for a memorial service for a dear family member who had been ill for some time before his passing. The Eagle's Nest was the perfect house for the six of us. Plenty of room, a great kitchen where we could cook and share meals, and the most amazing views in every direction. The Eagle's Nest provided the peace and serenity we needed. Tim and Elaine were easy to deal with, attentive but not intrusive. We hope to be able to return for another visit in the future.
Eagle's Nest is atop a ridge and our panoramic view of the Sapphire, and Bitterroot Mountains is unmatched. We are a 45 minute drive to Missoula International Airport. Our 157 acres is very private, and snuggled into a 640 acres of state land. Lay back and watch the world go by.
