About Nushi & Mario Carrera
We live in Annapolis because we fell in love with this small jewel of a town when our daughter was a Midshipman at the Naval Academy. There's nothing to dislike about this town. We bought a small weekend home, commuting 100 miles a weekend to enjoy this town and see our daughter. Then we decided let's just move there. After living there for a couple of years we decided to build a new home around the corner; we love the Eastport neighborhood. Eight years later we are still enjoying our life here in Annapolis and still connected to Naval Academy vis the sponsorship program. Midshipmen enjoy our home away from their homes. And our 3 kids and their own families visit often to refresh and capture more memories in our awesome city.
Nushi & Mario Carrera purchased this Apartment in 2011
Why Nushi & Mario Carrera chose Annapolis
We had this home built to our specifications, open living, screened in porch, many bathrooms and bedrooms. We finished the basement in 2015. Our guests say it feels like home!!
What makes this Apartment unique
Our home is conveniently located within walking distance of the historic district without all the challenges of being smack in middle of downtown Annapolis. There's plenty of street parking, locally owned top rated by Washington Post restaurants and bars are virtually a block away from our home. We are pretty hospitable people, so our guests will get a white glove service while they are staying here.

So glad we stayed here! Nushi and Mario thought of everything to make us comfortable. So much better than staying in a hotel. We walked to the USNA and downtown Annapolis. They had a nice welcome package of snacks and wine. The space was clean and comfortable. I would definitely recommend this spot.
Easy walking to USNA and downtown.
Great place to stay for a visit to Annapolis!
Apartment was immaculate and perfect for us (two adults and two teenage kids) for a visit to Annapolis for homecoming at St. John's College. They left snacks and coffee, which were very appreciated! It's about a15min walk to downtown Annapolis, and very pretty. In general, Eastport is a better deal than downtown Annapolis for accommodations, with the benefit of feeling like you're staying in a "real" neighborhood. There are also plenty of food options close by. Thank you again!!!
Close to our friends
Great stay, hosts were great only down side is this is a basement apt with a lot of sound transmitted through the floor. Ample coffee, water, snacks and a bottle of wine provided y our host. Very clean and well maintained. Street parking close to entrance and a nice neighborhood.
Thank you for your positive review with the exception of floor noise since it is a basement apt. We are reminded that we just have to be more diligent in keeping noise to a minimum and letting our guest be aware when they arrive. Cheers
We went to see niece get inducted to the naval academy. Our location was great. Nushi & Mario were very helpful and or place was very comfortable. We will go back.
Takes under 10 minutes to walk into town... an easy walk. Our hosts were very nice and accommodating, provided fresh fruit, cheese and snacks and a coffee station! Plenty of room with a king size bed! Perfect!
1 mile from US Naval Academy & MD State Capital. Only 25 miles from D.C- US Capital, the White House, and other historic and art centers.
