Nefeli IV, St Nicholas Residence, Lindos, Rhodes, Greece - Picturesque Location Above St Nicolas (Navarone) Bay, Lindos
About Eileen Keeton
We live in Derbyshire - We have 2 children who have both grown up and gone off to University - We have very fond memories of many holidays on various Greek islands as a family which is why we chose to have a place out there so we can revisit each year! Eileen & Steve Keeton
Eileen Keeton purchased this Villa in 2008
Why Eileen Keeton chose Pefki
The villa is located in a great spot - It's half way between Lindos and Pefkos - ideal for visiting both resorts and touring the rest of the island - Lindos is stunning and the Rooftop tavernas will draw you back each evening - The villa has several outdoor spaces, so whether you wish to laze on the sunbed in the garden under the olive trees or enjoy a drink on the terrace, or in the sunken courtyard, or on the Roof terrace, the choice is yours!

Highly recommended villa
We have just returned from a one week stay at this property. The destination of rhodes is lovely, this villa made our stay even better.
Quiet and accessibile location.
Spacious indoor and outdoors.
The aircon and pool was great.
The tradition outdoor greek bbq was ideal.
Dramatic surrounding mountains and far reaching sea view from the sun roof created a very nice feel. Stunning sun rises.
Handy hotel very close by, staff very welcoming and friendly.
Yummy bakery 2mins by car, 20 mins walk in Perkos.
We hired a car from rodos cars, well worth it even just to cover airport transfer cost.
This villa is very reasonably priced, no complaints at all, highly recommended. The management are very helpful and friendly, though booking and during our stay also.
Thank you, great memories made in your great accomodation. I
We ever come to Rhodes again or hear of anybody else that is planninv a trip we shall 100 per cent be advising them to check this property out.
Great place to stay
I stayed with my wife and 4 children (aged 8 years to 18 months) in July/August 2019 for 2 weeks. The villa is perfect and really spacious. Great pool, aircon in all rooms and the wifi is good as well. Bedrooms are all a good size. It is situated between Lindos and Pefkos and just a 5 min drive to either so the location is great. Loads of places to eat and drink at both. You can walk to both Lindos (40 mins) and pefkos (20 mins) but not advisable at night or with young children as there are no pavements in places. The good thing is you can walk to the end of the road and hail a taxi which is between 6 and 8 euros to lindos or pefkos. We ate in every other night (used BBQ as well), and then ate out the other nights. We hired a car for 3 days so we could visit other beaches and get a big shop done.
The owners are really organised and helpful.
Excellent stay with 3 generations of our family
The property is just as described and a short distance outside of Lindos, which a beautiful, unspoilt old town with lots of restaurants and shops and surrounded by nice beaches. A car is recommended for getting around, especially to visit the supermarket, but Lindos is walkable from the villa.
The villa itself is well equipped with cooking facilities, a washing machine, television with a range of UK and Sky channels and there are plenty of board games etc. We were travelling with a three month old baby and a cot was made available in her parent's bedroom. There is one bathroom with a good shower, wash basin and toilet and also a separate toilet. This worked fine for us, but may be a little busy if more guests stayed.
The pool and outdoor area are excellent for relaxing and we made good use of the BBQ in the evening.
I think five cats also call the villa home, which is great if you like cats.
The Ville di Lindos hotel is a two minute walk away. You can dine there and make use of their pool and the staff are very friendly and helpful.
All in all we had a great stay.
The villa was clean, big and had everythink needed
We stayed in this gorgeous villa when we got wedding in lindos and i can honestly say it was perfect. It had everythink we wanted an needed, we stayed with our 2 kids an it was lovely an private the kids loved the massive pool and all the garden to play in. Having the bbq was perfect to entertain family befor the wedding, we would definitely recommend this beautiful villa and definitely stay again xx
Thank you for an amazing time in your villa,we had great holiday relaxing and going to a wedding so the villa was a great location as the wedding was in St. Paul’s bay, the villa is mid way between lindos and Pefkos, there is a bus stop at the end of the road which was handy,if you want a taxi we just went to the end of the road and just flagged one down and cost about 6to7 euros and the bus is about the same to lindos or Pefkos ,this is advertised as a three bedroom villa it has two bedrooms down stairs one double and two single beds, you have a mezzanine with a spiral staircases and a sofa bed leading to the roof terrace with no linen provided and no wardrobe not really ideal for sleeping, this is a clean an well maintained villa.
Lovely villa in peaceful location
Nefeli villa is in a lovely peaceful location midway between Lindos and Pefkos. Both are an easy 5 minute drive away with a great choice of restaurants and beaches and supermarkets. There is also a lovely hotel at the end of the road where you can eat in their restaurant and use their pool. We went there several times when we wanted to eat out but didn’t want to drive and were always made to feel very welcome.
Nefeli villa and grounds are well maintained and had everything we needed for a comfortable two week stay. We liked the choice of places to sit out, so there was always somewhere in the sun or shade. The pool was lovely and warm and clean and there was an outside shower which was a bonus.
The house itself was comfortable with good effective air conditioning.( And with temperatures in the mid 30s it was a godsend.) The house also has satellite tv, dvd and a PlayStation. Although we didn’t use these much, it was good to know we had a distraction for the kids if the temperatures outside got too much for them.
There is also a traditional barbecue in the garden which we used several times after finding a good butcher in Lindos. It was really lovely sitting in the (relative) cool of the rooftop terrace at sunset with our homemade barbecue and a glass of chilled wine!
Finally I would like to thank Eileen. Eileen is a great host who was quick to respond to queries when we needed her help. I’m so pleased we chose to stay at Nefeli villa and hope to return one day soon.
Only 700m from the small sandy beach at St Nicolas (Navarone) Bay, & a scenic if energetic walk or 2 mins drive from Lindos & St Pauls Bay (1.5km) Pefkos (Pefki) is a little further in the opposite direction & has numerous beaches. Each have something different to offer, but unbroken blue skies, crystal clear seas & long sunny days are common to all.
The modern & efficient Rhodes Airport is approx 45km or 35 mins by car, taxi, bus or coach. Fares are pre-set to all destinations should you prefer not to drive. Car hire is highly recommended to fully appreciate all Rhodes has to offer, & is readily available at the airport upon landing or pre-booked in high season.
From the stunning setting of Lindos (1.5km), you may also choose to visit Rhodes Town (50km) for its history or cosmopolitan shopping or the water park at Faliraki (35km). The Valley of Butterflies and Seven Springs (25km) or any of the vast choice of ancient archaeological and historical sites dotted around the island. Closer to home and offering yet more by way of award winning 'blue flag' beaches and diversity are Pefkos (2km) Vlycha and Kalathos (3.5km) Lardos (7km) and Charaki (9km).
The nearest mini market / essentials shop & snack bar is barely a 3 minute walk & is excellent for lazy lunches or a cold beer. On the sandy beaches in and around Lindos, you can relax and enjoy endless sunshine and excellent facilities or for the active there are plenty of water sports. By night you can sample a wide variety of International or Greek cuisine offered by an abundant choice of rooftop restaurants & traditional tavernas, or take advantage of the bustling but unobtrusive cafe/bar culture, all set amongst a picturesque and historic backdrop. Shopping, market stalls, mini-markets, pharmacies, ATMs/cashpoints etc all easily accessible.
