The studio is located on a luxury property adjacent to a 12 x 6m Roman style swimming pool set in 3500sq.m of lush, mature garden with olive trees and lawns. Stunning views over the mountains and surrounding villages. Ideally situated for golfing holidays (at least 5 golf courses within 10 minutes), holidays on the French Riviera and Grasse countryside, or business trips to Cannes or Sophia-Antipolis. The property is located in a quiet, high value residential area very near to other properties belonging to globally known celebrities and royalty. Shops & restaurants are within walking distance. The location offers a central point to drive easily to Antibes, Cannes, Nice, or the inland lakes while avoiding the heavy tourist traffic along the coast. The villages of Gourdon, Valbonne, Cabris, Biot, the lakes are just a short drive and offer the opportunity to chill out, enjoy a lunch, afternoon tea etc while absorbing the charm and views, without needing to fight the traffic! Provence Perfection!
We had a lovely lovely authentic Provencal vacation! The house was a perfect quaint -an authentic French mini-Chateau. The pool was just gorgeous and well maintained. We had complete privacy to use the pool. The owners were just lovely. They provided us with plenty of information on where, what and when to go to all sorts of various activities that were particular to our interests. They were very sweet and provided us with umbrellas when the weather was bad. The house was well equipped, and perfect for an authentic quiet Provencal vacation. We got to live our best lives in peace and tranquility surrounded by the gorgeous views! Sitting on the pool chairs watching the sun set or the sun rise over coffee and croissant was heavenly! We are already planning our next vacation time to go back to this lovely lovely secret shangri-la! Thank you Dilek and Owen.... we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Fantastic Location and Wonderful host
Our first concerns were if this holiday would be truly private as the pool and studio were part of the main property, but as we soon discovered our fears were not justified. We had total privacy, the pool was amazing and the studio was a perfect size for two. This is a great place as a base, the mountain castles and villages are from 15 to 30 minutes away, Cannes 45 and Nice 50 minutes away. Our host Dilek and Frank were extremely helpful and very good fun, and we shall certainty be returning. Zoe and Spence.

Totally relaxing
We had a wonderful week in Opio in this delightful, if petite, studio. Dilek and Frank were wonderful hosts, extremely welcoming and gicing privacy at the same time. The pool was gorgeous and the tips in the booklet the hosts have produced were very helpful. All in all a totally relaxing week in Provence.

Séjour génial pour deux personnes avec la piscine privatisée, un petit coin de paradis pour souffler un peu. Avec un accueil des propriétaires qui sont vraiment charmants, ça donne envie de revenir !

Why they chose this property

Opio is superbly located with easy access to the best spots on the Cote d'Azur such as Grasse, Antibes, Nice, Cannes, St.Paul, Cap Ferrat, Valbonne, Mougins etc At the same time Opio offers superb views, is quiet and unspoilt. Amenities are excellent and the airport is only 25minutes away. This is a place to relax and enjoy the excellent weather. Over the years celebrities, heads of state, and royalty have moved into properties close by our villa. free wifi

What makes this property unique

The property is quiet, and secluded. Within walking distance there are some good restaurants and several shops, a health centre with spa, hairdressers, and an old olive mill that is well worth a visit. We offer our guests a small brochure that we have prepared to help them identify with the area. We indicate the various restaurants, the best local shops, the local fresh food markets and places to visit for sightseeing and sport. This has been very well received by many guests who have taken copies to use when they next visit us.
