The location and property were excellent. It was great to stay in a property that did not have a set of rules as one of the first things you were greeted with. Despite the comments on the description of the property that the wi-fi was likely to be slow we found it more than adeaqute and the TV had Netflix available.
Fabulous new year break
A warm and welcoming property well furnished and ideally situated for a quiet break. Local shop well stocked and the pub next door served wholesome food and excellent beers and local cider.
Thank you Nigel for another amazing break. We had a wonderful wedding anniversary in beautiful surroundings and the cottage was as always immaculate, warm and cosy. On top of all that we had some beautiful home cooked at the Folly. Thank you again. Heidi and Rob.
Good location good accommodation.
Fresh, clean and well presented. Interesting building and location next to a lock on the Oxford canal. Stepping distance from a very good pub, The Folly, serving excellent food and ales.
Will stay here again.
Beautiful cottage, perfect for a peaceful break away!
Well presented cottage in a beautiful location. The perfect place to stay if you wish to have a quiet weekend away. The cottage was well equipped and Nigel went out of his way to ensure that we had a everything we needed for our weekend stay.
Canal side break
Excellent location. Lovely property which had everything we needed for our 4 night stay. It was so warm-we did not need to use the wood-burner, despite poor November weather. Nigel was very welcoming and helpful.
