This is our 7th winter VRBO stay in SF and this stay was by far the best. Gary’s home is gorgeous, the views of the Bay are stunning, and the North Beach location cannot be beat. The kitchen and amenities are over the top. Most important, Gary was most responsive to our questions, very professional, and extremely courteous. Thank you!
A great place to hang your hat -- pictures and text are all accurate
Extremely clean, well-equipped in every way, comfortably and very tastefully furnished... Gorgeous original art everywhere you look. Add in a stunner of a view, a highly convenient location re groceries, Chinatown, North Beach and Telegraph Hill and a charming and extremely responsive landlord and you've got a winner.
Couldn't have been happier here. (We're already making plans for a return in the spring.) This is a really lovely home away from home which I would heartily recommend to one and all.
Thank you for your kind words about my home. I'm so glad you and your husband enjoyed your stay so much and that you were able to have your daughter come up from Silicon Valley to visit you. It was my pleasure having you as a guest and look forward to your return next Spring.
I cannot imagine a better location , or nicer place to stay while in San Francisco. As if the property was not nice enough, the area is amazing-- easy walking to fine restaurants , churches and the wharf. Throw in stunning views , and I'm ready to come back just thinking about it. I'm fairly picky, and I could not possibly think of anything remotely negative about my stay. Just a tremendous property. Terry
Exceptional in many ways
We stayed the month of October in Gary's Telegraph Hill/North Beach neighborhood apartment. it was truly exceptional in many ways, beginning with Gary and his thoughtfulness and service, commencing with offering tips and to have items stocked ahead of our arrival, to meeting us on day one and explaining all of the apartment's workings, to staying in touch and assisting with our final departure. The apartment itself has a million dollar view of the Bay, best described as an ever-changing picture, from fog rolling in over the Golden Gate Bridge, to white sails under sunny skies, to the colors of daybreak and dusk. The rooftop deck is a real treat and even long time SF residents marveled at the view. the apartment living space is comfortable and my wife and I had plenty of room in nicely appointed kitchen, dining room, living room and two bedrooms. the location is fabulous, from the 5 blocks to Fisherman's wharf, to the 20 minute walk to the business district, to being a wonderful urban neighborhood with fabulous local restaurants around Washington Square (don't miss Momma's, Tony's and North Beach Restaurants). My wife explored the area every day and found delightful bakeries, cafes, shops. We feel very blessed to have been able to live here and experience the city and area as we did and highly recommend it.
