Spacious house on a great lot on the lake.
The house was great for our event, my Mom's 90th Birthday Party. Very spacious and good for a big group. The lot is nice and big also and very pretty right on the lake.
Great Multi-Family New Years Eve Weekend
This location was perfect for our group. We had 6 adults and 6 kids, and had plenty of room for everyone to sleep and hang out. The lake was great; we brought our inflatable kayak and paddle board and the lake was calm and clean. We needed a new passcode for the locks, and the owner responded to us immediately. We didn't venture outside of the house, but realized there was a nice restaurant with mini golf right around the corner.
Delightful Family Lake House
The property manager is Mark and he is fantastic. He has a notebook FILLED with helpful data. Closest grocery stores, restaurants, you name it. You could tell that this was a family Lake House and it has been lived in. They had aluminum foil and plastic wrap, and a realistic amount of household plates, glasses, silverware, etc. I cannot begin to tell you how helpful those items are. My friends and I have now rented enough places that we know to bring extra toilet paper and paper towels, but having simple necessities like ketchup, mustard, along with more than 1 pot kept our traditional 3 runs to the grocery store to only one. The lake is beautiful and there is a great view from the house. Beautiful Cypress trees and a dock. Relaxing. If you are looking for theater, movie theaters, and a mall nearby, you are going to be very disappointed. However, if you want to visit, talk, and relax, this is a fantastic house. If I had to say anything negative, there is one item that was a little bothersome, which unfortunately the property owner would have absolutely no control over ... is the sulfur (rotten egg) smell of the water from most of the faucets. It is the norm for the water from the aquifer. I wondered why there were no ice machines, but it certainly makes sense now. Overall, it is a beautiful house and separate guest house with lots of beds, a caring property owner, and well stocked house.
stay at lake
Enjoyed our stay, very nice location on the lake. Great get away but still close enough to restaurants and amenities.
perfect for a large group
Dirty & unkempt
Maintenance issues the entire time, Dead Bugs, filthy, cobwebs, smells and leaking roof...to name a few. Expensive but would have been worth it perhaps if not filthy. Some of our family would not stay. Owner did respond to maintenance concerns but feel he’s either not aware of or disinterested in condition of rental. No reasonable concession offered.
