Fair Value for the Price
Pictures of the condo are accurate. Kitchen is very big which was nice. There are no basic spices or olive oil in the kitchen so you’ll want to bring your own. There are also no measuring cups. Plenty of pots and pans of all sizes. Stove is coil not cooktop. Like many of the buildings on Blackholm the lodge itself is super rundown. This is a family oriented building so we often heard kids running and playing down the halls. The one thing I would call out is this is NOT ski in ski out. ‘across the street’ for the homerun trail ending is a bit of a stretch in the truth. Shuttle stop is super convenient. Couch is big and cozy. We did not appreciate what appeared to be posters of garbage rags someone disposed of inappropriately causing a flood of some sort on every door in the lodge siting peoples vacations were ruined and insurance premiums would go up for owners. I get that people were angry about something that happened months ago but it’s the end of January now and it’s a scolding tacky message to have up all over greeting your guests. Hottub view is very nice...very small though so go up first and check! We wouldn’t stay here again but definitely feel it was a fair value to the price.
Thank you for taking the time to review our 212 Powderhorn property, Tara! We are happy to hear the kitchen was spacious enough and there were plenty of pots and pans. To try to prepare our guests for their arrival as much as possible we send everyone a check-in email that you would have received 7 days prior to your arrival. Included in this we do state that "Although properties are often equipped with some non-perishable food items, such as salt & pepper, sugar, coffee, and spices, we cannot guarantee they will be there. Please bring anything edible you may need during your stay." The Powderhorn Lodge itself is quite dated, however the owner of 212 has worked hard to keep their unit updated. We strive to provide transparency in our property descriptions and this property is not advertised as a ski-in/ ski-out as it is a short walk (100m) to the Green Line ski-out or a short walk (700m) to Blackcomb Gondola, we apologize if this was misunderstood. Strata has placed those posters up in hopes that guests and housekeepers do not make the same mistake by putting clothes down the drains. That being said, on inspection of the home today we noticed that these have been removed. Aside from the above, we hope that you enjoyed your stay with us and we look forward to seeing you again.

Great Unit - A few tips though
This is a lovely unit and nicely renovated. I felt very much at home during my short stay and I have nothing negative to say about the quality and location of it. I wasn't disturbed by the sound of the elevator at all. As you know, I complained that the stove and oven were very dirty and sent photos. The response was that your housekeeping crew hadn't had time to clean it since the last check-out but clearly, this was not the result of the one previous stay. Before I started using the oven, I set it to self-clean, wiped it out and then had to deal with the inserts on the stove top that had food debris in them. For a $115 cleaning fee, I would have expected to have a pristine stove. 5 of the Denby cups looked like they had just been used because they were so stained. I bleached them back to white. The bed had been pulled slightly away from the wall when I got there maybe from the previous guests and both side tables were full of dust at the back of them and the heater was dirty too. More attention to detail is needed to avoid complaints. A suggestion would be to replace the piece of ragged old carpet on the back deck that's acting as a mat with something more conducive to the quality of the unit. I would definitely recommend this lovely unit to anybody. Aside from the few things that got missed, dealing with Harmony was a good experience.

Perfect for our family ski getaway with our 2 young kids.
The place was nice and clean and perfect for our needs. The kids loved the rooftop hot tub, and we loved being able to walk onto the slopes. We would definitely stay again.
