Great apartment in a great location
Had a great stay in Boothbay. The apartment was very nice and in an excellent spot - quiet but easy to walk to everything. Recommended!
A Nice Place
A very pleasant, quiet place. And very well located -- it's close to all sorts of attractions in Boothbay. The only real negative is that the kitchen is, a described in the listing, is "limited" -- no stove and only a dorm room-sized refrigerator. There's also no laundry on the premises, though there's a laundromat right down the road (this hadn't occurred to me when I booked the place -- my fault). But overall, it's a nice place and was as described, and our stay was hassle-free.
Spacious rooms and close to downtown
We really enjoyed our stay here. The rooms are very spacious and clean. The beds themselves are quite comfortable and we slept well. We did not have any issues with being too hot or cold. The bathrooms are also quite clean and having 2 was very helpful since we had children to bathe. I do recommend staying here.
I will also reiterate from other reviews that the set of stairs leading to the apt and the 3rd floor are quite steep. This did not bother the adults but we did bring baby gates for the kids (1yr old and 4yr old). This addressed any concern. The tv channels are quite limited to watch as an FYI. We were mostly out and about all day so this was also not an issue for us.
The only concern I will raise is that I paid attention mostly to the nightly fee and not the total when I completed my reservation. I didn’t realize the additional fees that are added at the end that did impact our budget more than intended. So just a general notice to pay attention as this was my fault for not doing so.
I went to visit my son and this place was like a home away from home. Within walking distance of the restaurants and shops. Very quiet and relaxing. Very much recommended!
Everything is as described. Easy walk to town. Very steep stairs. Not a Kitchen for cooking meals but good restaurants nearby.
Charming Historic Home
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this wonderfully restored home. The location is perfect, the owner has provided every convenience within the home, beds were super comfortable. The only issue would be traffic sounds, which were easily covered by running the fan on the air conditioners in each room at bedtime.
