What makes this Guest House unique
We rent two rooms in a beautiful house et the edge of the St. Lawrence. The view is breathtaking. The garden is filled with trees and flowers, and is a bird paradise: herons, bald eagles, geese, jays, woodpeckers, cormorants, hummingbirds, etc. One of the rooms has river view. The quietness guarantees restful nights. It is just nature in all its glory.

Can't say enough good things about our stay with Dominique and Véronique. Their home is gorgeous, even, if possible, even more so than in the photos. The interior is decorated with lovingly chosen art and the backyard affords a dramatic, captivating view of the shoreline.
D&V are wonderful, thoughtful hosts, from making us feel very welcome upon our arrival to booking our dinner reservations to sending us off with a terrific breakfast spread the next morning. We very much enjoyed our conversations, and appreciated their patience with our French. Our only regret is that we stayed just one night, which we'll remedy on our next visit. Merci et, nous esperons, à bientôt!
Very, very hospitable hosts and the views were fascinating.
We'd stay here again in a heartbeat!
We travelled to I'lle d' Orleans for ancestry research. We found so much more. Our stay in this wonderful gite was beyond our expectations. Wish we had longer, and suspect we will be back.
Awesome Home Awau From Home
Dom & Veronica were fabulous hosts. Everything was wonderful from the accommodations, the breakfast spread, the view, the fire, the sunrise and the sunset. We will certainly be back in the spring.
Wonderful home full of art and hospitality. We needed a quiet night before heading back to the busy city and were welcomed and treated to a bonfire at the edge of the St.Lawerence as the cruise ship passed by and to a delicious breakfast before an early departure. The hosts made us so welcome and were flexible with our short stay.
peace by the river
This is a beautiful, clean, inviting home with friendly and helpful hosts. The setting along the river is incredible. The breakfasts are delicious and generous, and are doubly memorable when the weather permits eating outdoors.
