Why Richard Hunter chose Pinecrest Estates
We searched throughout southern B.C. for a vacation home and were extremely lucky to find Pinecrest Estates. There are only 75 homes in the estate and the ones on the lake never change hands. It has the perfect year-round appeal. It truly is a slice of Canadiana for a Brit like me. Snow, skate and ski. Mountains, canoeing, swimming and forest. Away from all of the shops and crowds in Whistler, but close enough if you need it. Plus the logs ... so cozy.

Easter at Pinecrest
Great lakefront location with views of snowy peaks including Black Tusk. Perfect for our Easter weekend family get together, the well equipped log cabin is about 15 minutes south of Whistler with a hot tub, trails nearby, tennis courts close by... was a peaceful retreat from big city life. We'll be back.
Cosy cottage on the lake
Quiet lake front home , warm, clean, very comfortable beds. Has everything needed for a relaxing family weekend away.
Comfortable house with the BEST dock on the lake.
A comfortable house with the BEST dock on the lake. Good location for all the outdoor activities.
Loved the home on the lake!
The log cabin was rustic, comfortable, had a wonderful hot tub to use after skiing. The host was accessible for our every need. Soooo relaxing. A private piece of heaven.
Cozy cabin with some perks and great location
We had a great time staying at the cabin, and communication with Richard was solid! The log home was comforting and large enough for our group to cook, eat, and play games together. The bunk room was larger than expected so that was rewarding.
The hot tub was a HUGE plus during the very cold weekend; it was running fine but we had to put in some effort into restoring the chemical balance of the water in the hot tub, so that we could actually use it upon arrival and throughout the weekend.
This place is a must if you want to avoid the WB crowds and prices, but close enough to get back and forth quickly!
Very Nice Property to Stay at
The owner is great to work with and is extremely helpful/accommodating. The property is very nice and located in a very quiet area - a pond in the back and one across the street. Very wooded area and tranquil. The house was very nice - cabin like. 3 good sized bedrooms upstairs. One bedroom has 3 beds (bunk bed and regular bed). We were a group of 5 and the layout was great. Kitchen is very large and the livingroom is very warm and cozy. Just inside the front door is a mud room for all wet clothing and a large washer / dryer and plenty of hooks to hang up wet clothes. I would highly recommend staying here. It is just 15-20 minutes south of Whistler. If I had one suggestion, it would be to have a few stronger light bulbs in a couple of the lamps to make reading easier. Thank you for a great stay.
