just a little get away
A great escape from my daily life. Checked out of my life to the peaceful surroundings of Half Moon Lake. Hiked at Pickney recreation area, read, and watched the beautiful swams on the lake. Just what I needed to unwind and regroup before the holidays.
Wonderful! We all need nature to center us now and then!
Nice place to stay.
We would definitely rent again.
Great place to vacation!
The home is beautiful, quality furniture and an entire wall of windows overlooking the lake. Clean & organized home in a peaceful area.
This was a very clean property!! We had a wonderful time and would like to book the same weekend next year! Cozy house and we loved being so close to the water!!! Can’t wait To go back next year!!!!
thanks so much Carrie!
Lovely Autumn Weekend.
Absolutely lovely stay and would be happy to return in the future. Stunning view, clean, comfortable and well appointed house.
Thanks so much!
Third stay, perfect again!
This was our third time staying at Janice's property. As always it was VERY clean and the views were beautiful. Janice has everything well documented for accessing TV, internet and other items around the house. There was a wind storm one evening and the power blinked off and came right back on. It was enough to reset the stove so it wouldn't light, and Janice even had a note on the stove for how to "reboot" it.
We didn't venture out much this time, but did stop in at the Dexter Pub on our way there. It's a great place to catch a meal and a beer, and Dexter is a great town to stroll around.
If you're looking for a quiet get away, this is the place for you. Janice, thank you again for sharing your cottage! We look forward to returning!
You are so welcome anytime Kris, a pleasure!
