The cabin is located at 2 Maclean Road, Seymour. It is easy to locate as it is the very last property on the southern end (keep taking every right hand turn) of Long Point.
Enjoy nature's splendour either by relaxing in the cabin or getting up close and personal with everything Long Point Break has to offer.
Walk 11kms of pristine, untouched white sand beach combing for shells.
Take a swim in our sheltered (no nasty sea breezes) corner of the beach.
Fossick in the rock pools.
Surf the break at the old jetty ruins.
Watch the penguins and shearwaters (mutton birds) return to their nests upon dark.
Marvel at the giant granite marbles which line the foreshores when you go exploring along the rocks.
NOTE: The penguins are seasonal. Highest numbers are in summer.

We have a fully equipped kitchen and also a BBQ for entertaining outside.

What's close by?
We have the beach directly in front of the cabin, so any beach activity you can think of is right at your fingertips.
Wildlife abounds!!! Particulary birdlife: Penguins walk past the cabin on the way home to their nests. Sea eagles fish off the rocks and nest nearby. Shearwaters return here every year (the only time they ever come on land) to breed during September to August. Grass parrots, wrens, wattlebirds and other honeyeaters are common. Whales and their calves often come into the bay to rest up on their migation either north or south. Seals and dolphins also follow the natural curve of the beach on their fishing expeditions. We have a large population of Paddymelons and Bennett's wallabies, wombats and bandicoots...So sorry, no pets permitted.
We are half way between Bay of Fires and Freycinet Pennisula and Wineglass Bay.
We are also halfway between Launceston and Hobart in terms of travelling time, being approximately 2 hours from both.
There are over a dozen vineyards all within one hours drving time. Local towns are also within an hours drive. Bicheno is the closest town, being a 15 minute drive away and has everything you could possibly require.
The cabin is left unlocked for your arrival with the key left on the dining table.
