Why Must I Leave?
I felt secure and superbly comfortable here. If I can score this place again Ina future trip I would grab it in a heartbeat.
Gorgeous basement apartment, but unfortunately too noisy for us
This basement apartment was beautifully decorated, clean, and in a very cute neighborhood. Communication was great and check in was easy. The host provided dishes, silverware, coffee, towels, and more to make our stay comfortable. However, my Mom is disabled (we were in town for a Mayo Clinic appointment) and the entrance to the apartment is not wheelchair accessible- I guess this is my fault for not asking ahead of time. We also ended up leaving a day early because of the noise from upstairs. My Mom and I had a difficult time falling asleep with footsteps, thumping, and what sounded like running upstairs that went on until about 10pm and started up again around 6- 6:30am. You can also hear noise all during the day as well. If you're a heavy sleeper and don't mind upstairs noise, than this is a wonderful rental for you, but unfortunately it was too noisy for us.
It was very nice to stay in luxury while away from home. Deb's place was so beautiful that it made it very easy to relax.
Beautiful walk out basement apartment
Nice place not a far drive from Mayo Clinic. Well equipped and pretty. Lovely neighborhood. Very helpful and thoughtful owner. Only thing we didn’t like was it was over air conditioned so we were cold and we could hear the family walking and talking above us. But we would stay there again!
This property is truly stunning. The upgrades are so gorgeous. Deb was so great to work with and responded very quickly to any of our questions. The neighborhood is well kept and quiet. It was a nice oasis while we were in town for Mayo Clinic appointments. We'll definitely check this location first for our return trips!
Deb's Place is Perfect!
Beautiful home (entire basement converted into a modern-condo feel with lots of light.) Terrific access, amenities, privacy, flexible terms, great location - loved it so much we tagged an extra couple days onto our stay and Deb graciously accommodated us. Two beautiful bedrooms and most of a kitchen, so a small family would do fine. The pictures don't do it justice - treat yourself! We were celebrating 2 years healthy after wife's open heart surgery, couldn't have been happier. Thanks!

Transportation and Parking
As there is limited parking availability at and around Mayo Clinic, many employees choose to take a city bus, use a Park & Ride location or carpool. Visit Rochester Public Transit for more information about Rochester's city bus system and Park & Ride locations. The campus' downtown location also makes biking or walking convenient for many employees.
The city of Rochester, Minnesota, has a reliable, affordable bus system with regular stops at Mayo Clinic's downtown buildings and Mayo Clinic Hospital — Rochester. Mayo subsidizes bus passes for employees, which allows them to take city buses to work at no cost and take commuter buses from surrounding communities at a reduced cost. As bus service is not available during many nighttime hours, staff with work-related duties at night may need a car to commute.
Mayo operates an intercampus shuttle system that provides employee transportation between Mayo Clinic's downtown buildings, the Saint Marys campus of Mayo Clinic Hospital — Rochester, and Mayo parking lots near downtown.
