About Honni Chilcott
I work full time as a high school teacher and we have 3 teenagers. We live in Hobart and love to get to the beach on weekends.
Honni Chilcott purchased this House in 2005
Why Honni Chilcott chose Surveyors Bay
We built this house in 2006. We fell in love with Big Roaring Beach and the surrounding community and found the perfect block to build a holiday home for our family.
What makes this House unique
We designed the house so that all of the living was upstairs to make the most of the views. We love sitting on the front deck overlooking the ocean. The back deck has superb views of the rural setting and makes the most of the afternoon sun. Even on a cold winters day, it is impressive sitting by the open fire and watching the weather change over the ocean.

A wonderful place at a wonderful beach
The beach house is very comfortable with all of the mod cons a good library of books, DVDs and cupboard of the little extras in the kitchen.
Beachside peaceful haven
The location was beautiful and quiet, amazing bird life to watch from the deck and beach was lovely. House had lovely energy and was a dog friendly environment, great for my Labrador. Will be back to explore the area further!
Great beach house
Thank you Honni for letting us stay at Big Roaring Beach. The house and location were beyond our expectations. The kitchen was so well equipped. It was so good to step over the lane down to the beach with our dog. We will definitely be back.
