Serpell and Nathan were gracious and welcoming hosts. The property exceeded expectations in all aspects! A gem.
True Mountain Getaway.
I was impressed with the renovation of this 1800s log home with modern amenities. This property is in excellent condition with a remote location but not out of the way. We observed wildlife enjoyed the fire place. The owners were extremely nice and was very willing to ensure our stay was enjoyable. The only downfall is the internet connection. It was not completely inoperable but was hit and miss with enough service to use all access capabilities. But the location one can understand. I do recommend staying at this property and intend to do so next time I'm in the area.
Cabin is meticulous both in its craftsmanship and cleanliness. Christmas decor was magical. Hiking in the area is good. We appreciated the County map and the Hikers guide. We could not have gotten around without them. The cabin had a lot of little touches that made it feel like a home. We would definitely stay here again if we were in the area
This is our second stay at Serpell and Nathan’s cabin. We love the remoteness of this cabin and the quiet that it brings. The cabin itself is beautifully restored and has all the modern amenities that you would need. We love to sit on the front porch, make fires and talk walks around the property/down the road. The cabin is very clean, and the beds are super comfortable.
Unique rustic charm
We thoroughly enjoyed our time in this wonderful cabin! We have stayed in some nice cabins in various places, but felt this one was a special gem! It provided all the comforts we desired, yet it's rustic charm made it unique! The cabin was very clean and nicely decorated. It was peaceful and cozy, providing the perfect place to relax, surrounded by nature. The owners were friendly and helpful during our communication with them. We highly recommend it!
We are local but had a couple anniversaries we were celebrating. Enjoyed our stay.
