Why Nils Kristoffersen chose San Francisco
White beaches, warm waters and cobblestone streets all factored into the desire to be a part of San Pancho. Add in temperate weather, fantastic local cuisine and a friendly atmosphere, and the Kristoffersens couldn't be happier to own Vista Celeste.

If you'e looking for piece and quiet this is the spot. But a great little restaurant and a beach club 50 metres away. The town is a 15 minute walk along the beach or cobbled streets. I'd suggest hiring a golf cart. Thoroughly enjoyed the four days there. Property manager was very responsive. My only comment is that the modem needs updating. During power surges there was no wifi. What a great town. We've been staying in Sayulita for the last few years, and San Pancho is even better. We'll be back at this property. Perfect for a 3 couple getaway.
Beautiful roomy home with outstanding beach access and fantastic views! Very clean with all the necessities you could want. Property manager Abel is on top of every little detail and has a wealth of information regarding San Pancho and surrounding areas. A perfect home for a relaxing vacation!
Pros: Location was great (close to downtown San Pancho with a golf cart), views were nice, amount of space/rooms was great, wifi was stable.
Cons: We had no water on the last day (no showers, use of sinks or toilets), the sheets were washed but not dried properly and smelled (we also found wet sheets sitting in the washing machine days after check in), there was either cold water or scalding hot water for the shower.
Nice location and town, but the property needs to be maintained better.
If you like being away from the hustle and bustle of the city this is the perfect location. The amenities were nice, but we ran into a few issues with property. We had ant and water bug problems the whole time we were there, the oven didn’t really work, so the food we purchased to cook in the oven was wasted, and not being able to flush toilet paper down the toilet and placing in the trash can next to the toilet was gross! The pool was always dirty because of the trees around it, but other than that it was ok.
Peace and Quiet
Loved our stay here! The floor plan is very nicely laid out with plenty of space and everything we needed to have a restful vacation and some beach therapy. The beach was virtually empty and void of people trying to sell us things. A short walk up the beach to San Pancho you can get your typical bar and beach food, but still not very crazy or too busy to enjoy the beach. The property manager is awesome and on top of it!
Third time at Vista Celeste and we love it more each time we go!
While this visit was a shorter one, we still enjoyed every minute of it. The pool, outdoor kitchen, the views, etc. are all wonderful!
Just 25 miles North of Puerto Vallarta, Vista Celeste lies in the small town of San Francisco (affectionately called San Pancho by the locals). Secluded in the lush Nayarit Riviera, San Francisco’s small-town charm, cobblestone streets and friendly locals comprise a unique getaway from the hectic hustle and bustle of modern life. Across the street from the beach, and adjacent to a resort with restaurants and countless activities, Vista Celeste offers something for everyone. Whether it’s snorkeling the pristine waters or an evening spent sampling the exquisite local cuisine, a vacation in San Pancho can be truly memorable.
