The boat was perfect for my husband and I. It was very clean and had all amenities that we needed. The neighbors on the other slip properties were friendly and Miss Vickies is right there on the dock and a great place to eat and relax! We’ll be back!

Poor Customer Service
The boat is beautiful and, for the most part, comfortable. However, when we arrived the toilet was broken and Blair couldn't understand why we were upset about not having a toilet on board for a day and a half. He was more excited about just having his nose hairs waxed (seriously!). Blair brought his teenage son with him and they were both incredibly rude to us! Granted, there is a bar/restaurant across the parking lot with extremely clean bathrooms (bathrooms open 27/7) that we could use. But who wants to get up at 1AM and walk in the dark to the bathroom - not me! Blair left a portable toilet for us to use which made the boat smell like an outhouse - YUCK!
One night we got back late and the gate to the marina was locked. We had to call Blair and he told us the information was in the check-in email; however, we didn't receive a check-in email. The other person we communicated with (don't know this person's name) said they don't send out a check-in email since someone is always on-site to check guests in. This was not the case for us. When we arrived Blair talked us through a few items over the phone but he failed to tell us how to gain access to the marina if the gate is locked.
We were told we would get a gift card for being inconvenienced. We checked out 22 days ago and still no gift card. I sent a communication a week ago about the gift card and was told they would put it in the mail that day.
Bottom line - we won't be staying here again and do not recommend this to any one because of the poor customer service.
We strive diligently to provide excellent customer service; hence, we do an in person check in if possible, just as we had scheduled to do in this case, but the guest arrived over an hour late (which is fine because plans do change :-). Therefore, we did a phone check in with this guest and did a thorough walkthrough of all of the features of the boat. Unfortunately, the electric toilet needed to be repaired on a Sunday evening with hardware stores being closed; therefore, an over-the-night repair was needed, which is unusual as the toilet hasn't needed to be repaired in several years. Blair (who has a heart of gold but can have a quirky sense of humor), continually does a great job with repairs and went overboard to be accommodating and polite to these guests, but his son explained to me that they were so hostile to his dad that he finally couldn't be silent and had to stand up for him. I regret that this occurred. As for the gift card, I did send this guest a gift card for her inconvenience with the toilet and after I provided her with the proof of delivery she did admit she received it, but regrettably wouldn't remove the review. Home Away's policy is not to remove reviews even if they have errors or untruths in them. We continually strive to improve our guests' stays, so as a result of this repair, we bought an extra marine electric toilet to have on hand if need be. As always, we will continue to improve our customer service.
A unique change from the usual vacation
We really enjoyed our stay. Kayaking around the islands was amazing and evenings on the deck were soothing. Thank you Blair!
