This is a charming studio apartment with a full kitchen that has been decorated with lots of warm aloha hospitality and furnished to meet our guests' needs while on holiday. In addition to having all the dishware, cookware, and serving ware, as well as the linens and towels, we also provide WiFi Internet, Cable TV, beach chairs, pool/beach towels, etc. (We have three other units in this building so keep that in mind if you're traveling with a group. Ask about a possible discount when renting multiple units.)

We are just half a block from the beach, in one of Waikiki's best locations. The building has a pool and a furnished rooftop deck with breathtaking views of the pristine turquoise ocean and golden sands of Waikiki Beach, an unobstructed panorama of Diamond Head, and a bird’s eye over Kapiolani Park, the beautiful 300-acre sprawl of lush greenery that’s home to the Zoo, the Shell, the Aquarium and many more recreational activities and island festivities. On the rooftop deck, you can relax in serenity above the bustling city, watch the sunrise AND sunset, and dine under the stars listening to the soft sounds of nocturnal zoo animals or possibly a world-class musical performance from the Shell.

Perfect little hideaway close to Waikiki Beach
We truly enjoyed our stay at this little Gem tucked in close to the beach and right across from the zoo in Waikiki. The location was perfect and made getting out and about super easy. The room was exactly like the pictures, neatly appointed with everything we needed and super clean. Check in was very easy and quick and the front staff were very friendly and helped with rthe commendations and advice. Overall a great stay and we would recommend to anyone. Mahalo.

Underwhelming but affordable - decent home base
This is a very old and tired building. Great view from patio but the patio itself is ugly with zero ambiance. The pool area is a dump and not inviting at all. BUT…location is excellent in what is a very expensive area. Suite is as described. The kitchenette is newer, bathroom very old. All staff were friendly. Skip the coffee packet because you’ll still need to buy cream and sugar - more affordable to grab coffee from ABC next store every morning. Bed was comfy (very soft). Couch is shot (old and saggy)…not a good seat in the unit. While the living space was clean there needs to be a deep clean done of window tracks and accumulated dust bunnies behind armoire. If you are a light sleeper, bring earplugs because the AC unit is very noisy. Nicer to just open window for breeze. Overall it was fine for the limited time we spent in room. (Don’t eat at pub on 2nd floor….grossest nachos ever). It’s a gay bar which didn’t bother us, but the entertainment was painful.

Amazing!
Beautiful little condo with everything needed for a wonderful stay! The location is number one.. Waikiki beach is just steps away! Loved to take my morning coffee on the rooftop terrace and admire Honolulu’s sunrise right behind the Diamond Head.. de toute beauté! We loved it.. we would definitely go back to this beautiful place! Mahalo! Marinela & Jacques From : Quebec, Canada

Solid & reliable
Lovely location, responsive and generous host, easy check in and out. Our second time here, several years apart. The location is close to the beach and quiet park, unfortunately some alley/street noise due to the alley-facing windows, and some items could use updating which hasn't been done between our last time and now (kitchen cupboards mis-aligned and don't close, less ceramic plates and cups than last time, and the 'new' ones are flimsy plastic-y camping-style plates, couch and bed are comfortable, but after a week, your back starts to remind you that something firm would be appreciated. Overall, a very solid property, and you shouldn't hesitate from booking, with the right expectations.

Aloha - Thank you for viewing one of our property listings on VRBO - My name is Mark G. Howard, and I am the Principal Broker, President and Property Manager for Hawaii Americana Realty, headquartered in Waikiki. Originally from New Zealand I have made Waikiki my home because of the sun, surf and sand. Hopefully you will have the opportunity to stay in one of our vacation properties sometime soon. Feel free to contact us with any questions you may have, and Aloha!

Why they chose this property

Waikiki has several different areas, we particularly like this location as it is situated along the edges of both Waikiki and Kapiolani park, an area that is known to be more peaceful. Plus of course we are just 2 minutes walk from the famous Waikiki Beach, The Honolulu Zoo and the outdoor Shell Theater (live local entertainment many weekends) is just a leisurely 8 minute walk also.
If you are coming to Golf, The Ala Wai Golf course is 5 minutes. away.
There's really no need to rent a car when staying at our location, both UBER & Lyft ride sharing services are available on the island, plus we offer a great low fixed rate on getting you back to the airport when your vacation comes to an end, ask your guest host or check inside our welcome book for details.

Convenience stores and full grocery stores are all within easy reach. Plus we have two really efficient delivery services that collect from local restaurants and deliver to your suite if you feel like being pampered.

What makes this property unique

As well as everything you've already read, We have a full coin-op laundry facility located on the lower level easily accessed by either of the two elevators.

Should you feel like a manicure or massage at any point during you stay? There are massage services available on the second floor and a nail and beauty boutique located on the first floor.

If you are coming for a special event such as 'proposal' or anniversary, let us know when you are booking if you would like our in house concierge to arrange something to greet you loved one such as flowers, chocolates or cuddly toy in the room upon arrival, almost anything can be arranged at minimal additional cost.

Again, Thank-you for checking out our listing and warmest Aloha from our team!
