Traveler Service Fee Refund

We greatly appreciate your patience throughout your last cancellation process. To say thanks, we’re refunding the traveler service fee on your next trip. It’s a small gesture that we hope you accept as our way of thanking you for being a part of our Vrbo family.

How does it work?

Book your trip on vrbo.com before September 1, 2020. When booking your trip, make sure it’s scheduled to begin by December 31, 2020. Be sure to use the same email address used to book the property for your canceled trip. When you book, you will pay the traveler service fee. It will be included in the total cost of your booking. We will then refund the traveler service fee to your original form of payment (credit card, debit card, etc.) within 30 days.

When will I get my refund?

The traveler service fee will be refunded to your original method of payment within 30 days of booking.

Will all of the fees on my booking be refunded?

We will refund the traveler service fee, but the fees managed by our partners, like cleaning fees and any stay taxes, are not included in our traveler service fee and will therefore not be refunded.

What if I cancel my trip? Will the refund be applicable for future trips?

Unfortunately, this is a one-time offer. If you cancel your trip, the refund cannot be applied to future trips.

I don’t feel comfortable traveling right now. Can I still take advantage of the refund?

That’s okay! Your trip just needs to be booked before September 1, 2020, and scheduled to begin by December 31, 2020.

What if there are travel restrictions in place at the time of my trip?

We understand that there are ongoing travel restrictions in some areas and that situations change. We suggest that you carefully review the property’s cancellation policy before booking to ensure you are aware of any possible refund if you have to cancel. In any event, you will not provide another refund of any traveler service fee that has already been refunded to you in connection with this offer and if you cancel you will not be able to use this offer again on another booking.

The property I want to book does not require a traveler service fee. What now?

This offer only applies to bookings for properties that require traveler service fees.

What happens if I miss the deadline?

Unfortunately, we are unable to refund the traveler service fee for any trip booked after August 31, 2020.

Further terms and conditions applicable to refund offer: All bookings are subject to their Terms & Conditions and rental agreements, including House Rules. The traveler service fee refund (which includes value added tax) offer can only be redeemed once and only by the person this email is addressed to. It is non-assignable and non-transferable and no substitution, exchange or cash equivalent will be allowed. The refund offer will be forfeited if the recipient does not make an eligible booking (with a traveler service fee and to be started by 31 December 2020) by 31 August 2020.
