We had the absolute best time at Il Melograno — it was everything we dreamed of and more. From the moment we arrived, Candida made us feel so welcomed and cared for. She and her wonderful team (and family!) went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect for our stay and our wedding.The venue was breathtaking — the perfect setting for our small, 27-person wedding. We followed Candida’s recommendation and worked with Magie di Pasta (Davide and his team), who created the most delicious meal for our wedding and made every moment feel so special.In the days leading up to the wedding, we organized a pasta-making class right at the villa and went on local wine tastings — such a fun and memorable way to spend time with our guests before the big day.One thing to note for future guests: we definitely recommend renting cars, as the villa is tucked away in a peaceful and private area, and having a car makes it much easier to explore the surrounding region. Taxis were a bit of a struggle as it was time to check in and checkout of the villa. We’re so grateful to Candida and everyone at Il Melograno for making this experience so magical. The home is exactly as in the pictures. Comfortable sitting area, large kitchen, spacious dining room, and roomy nicely decorated bedrooms. Home is on a large property and although the weather did not cooperate the outside sitting area definitely adds to the appeal of this vacation rental.

Lona is an amazing host, she shared a wealth of information and must do’s and one feels right at home , the vacation home was extremely well thought out to the last details and I have never slept better , complete reset which is truly what a vacation should be , there is tons of options for restaurants and exploring in the region and Lona has the best neighbours and friends stopping by quietly to see the dogs or bring amazing gifts from their gardens. We look forward to come back again and enjoy this special place . Hard to find anything in this standards in the countryside.
