Lived up to billing, well appointed and clean. Great to be situated over the black rocks with the surf crashing in while watching a beautiful sunset.

Absolutely quiet and serene except for the noise you want to hear - the sound of surf.

This condo is exactly like the pictures. It is updated and clean. The view from the lanai is incredible. We were able to see whales and spinner dolphins as well as surfers. The location is ideal for walking to restaurants and stores. The owners kept in contact with us and have provided all the necessities for a comfortable stay. We would definitely stay here again!

First of all words cannot describe the sound of the waves and the scent of the sea and the beauty of Kona. This condo is a haven with all of that and more including whale watching from the Lanai ( balcony) and glorious sunsets. Wait before you get outdoor supplies as there are matts, beach chairs, beach umbrellas and scuba gear. Everything in the condo was clean and in working order. The communication with Alex was as easy as communication with a good friend, always available with caring and excellent suggestions. Best vacation ever. Thank you Alex & Michele! Condo is exactly as pictured - very nice, clean, well-equipped and with a gorgeous view (especially at sunset!). Owners were very responsive; for example there was no kettle in the apt. and they delivered a brand new one within a couple of hours of our asking. While no direct access to ocean, the “beach” seating area was lovely. Area where the complex is located is ok - but be prepared to drive everywhere.

Imagine sitting out on a lanai, in a comfortable chair, (that is high enough to see over the railing,) looking out at a perfect ocean scene. Some days the waves are huge and crash into the rocks just below. Sometimes the water is quiet ,and the waves gently wash onto the rocks. Perfect peace. To us, this unit is the perfect size for two people. It has everything that you would need, but is not cluttered. The bed is oh so comfortable. The location is within walking distance of restaurants and fun shopping. Counting the days until our next visit. Thanks for everything, Dan.

Gorgeous cabin and surrounding garden! I was initially a little off-put by the lack of curtains in the living area, but quickly realized it was because it was surrounded by greenery and private. The bedroom has blackout curtains, which is nice. The presentation and decoration was top notch. The family of pheasants that come to eat the scratch provided was definitely a perk. If you miss them in the morning, they will probably visit in the afternoon. There are water activity gear on the back porch like body boards, flippers, pool noodles, etc. The coquis at night are loud and reminded me of Puerto Rico, and added to the tropical vibe. I loved the chorus as it is something I would not hear at home. Lots of mosquitos outside as well. I found bug sprays in the cabin. There are a few pots of stagnant water out front which I suspect might be contributing to the mosquitos. Google maps tells you that you have arrived well before the actual entry onto the property, depending on which direction you are coming from. Ignore it and drive a little further until you see a set of mailboxes on one side and a driveway across from them. Absolutely lovely place, I hope to be back again and will be recommending to everyone. Thanks!

We stayed in this property of Vickis for 3 nights while visiting the Kailua-Kona area. I wish we could have enjoyed it longer. Vicki is a spectacular host, communicating clearly as often as necessary, instructions for checkin/out in the condo very clear and laid out. Her attention to detail is amazing. She anticipates every possible need for her guests, from restaurant brochures to beach essentials. The condo was spotless and her personal care for the place between guests was evident. This was very much appreciated. The king bed was so very comfortable as well. Lovely linens and towels. Thank you Vicki. I would recommend your place in a minute. We had parking steps from our condo door. The condo is street side so you hear some traffic and the upstairs neighbour was fairly heavy footed in the mornings but Vicki even provides earplugs for that if needed! You probably do need to drive to the shopping area down Ali'i drive from the condo but we did walk to a great restaurant from here. There are bikes to rent across street and a shuttle i understand. Staying longer I believe you'd appreciate being a bit away from the busy touristy area. It was an ideal location!
