Faro District cottages

The house was clean & quaint, with shutters and tiled and wooden floors but all the modern amenities e.g. fridge washing mashing dishwasher etc. it was in such a great central location, near to everything.Our host was easily contactable and kind enough to leave some provisions to start off our holiday.I had a month there and plan to go back so that says it all.

Stunning accommodation in a Stunning location, host very lovely and helpful. If you are looking for a peaceful relaxing holiday you won't be disappointed.

A group of friends stayed here for a hen do, and what a lovely experience. We had a late arrival of 1am and Helder was ready and waiting to greet us. The villa was immaculate, with some lovely touches. Helda had left fresh bread, ham cheese milk and coffee. The grounds are huge, lovely heated pool and jacuzzi and so much outdoor space! Not far in an uber to the centre of albufeira. Couldnt recommend enough

My partner and I absolutely loved Monte Rosa. It is simply the most ideal rural farm stay brimming with a lovely little kitchen garden, chickens, scratch cooked dinners and most importantly, the people who are there! 6 days was not enough. And as an added bonus you are only 15 min from the bustling towns and main city (Lagos) in the Algarve region of Portugal. So we had the best of the rural and the city! Allison and I both work in urban farming and hospitality so we really valued all of the little touches and details that went into the place. We can not express how much we loved the hosts Fabio and Marisol! They are wildly exceptional humans. Gracious, clear communicators and simply a delight to be around. Sandra's breakfast with her perfect 'Spiegelei' is the best! Theo helped us plan an amazing bike tour and Noémia set up the rooms so beautifully with foraged flowers and she is warm and wonderful. Marisol's dinners are exceptional (and she makes the best sangria!) and on our last night there we stayed and hung out with the friends we made enjoying some of the traditional dishes she made. Monte Rosa, we miss you already! Você é o melhor! Jij bent de beste! From Philly, with Love.

The property is a small house next to the owners home. It is set in beautiful mature Algarve gardens. The swimming pool is gorgeous and is for sole use of guests. Even though the place is beautiful, it is also a good idea to explore the area. Everything is around a 20 minute drive. Perfect location and stunning beaches everywhere. I absolutely recommend it.

Laura and George were amazing hosts,guiding us to excellent local restaurants. The property is immaculate! Stunning gardens which we spent alot of time in. We highly recommend staying here and will be back

- Berta was incredible welcoming and made our stay a home from home. - Very quiet location with beautiful grounds - Umbrella tree; great for having breakfast under. - Close to Lagos and other highlights of the Algarve. Overall this was the perfect place for a relaxing getaway; would definitely recommend.
